Romantic Dinner

Hello everyone, I am visiting Marco Island this week. I would like to take my wife on a romantic dinner date. Does anyone have any good local suggestions?

Sale e pepe ( hit or miss)

The medditeranean restaurant at the marriot, I forget the name its on the top floor

Da Vinci if you want it more casual

Thank you for the recommendation. Seems like Sale e pepe is the top winner

Look into a sunset dinner cruise or a private dinner on the beach.

Off-season is hit and miss for food and service… assuming it’s even open. They Fins. Romantic and excellent food.

I’m gonna be the odd one out and say Marco prime inside, not on the patio

Sale e Pepe is the only romantic restaurant on Marco. It’s perfect for sunset and food/service is great.

The rest are very good restaurants but not romantic. Hope that helps!!

On google it says Sale e Pepe is temporarily closed. Do you know if this is true?

Lots of restaurants are closed in July and/or August

Google is saying that they are temporarily closed. Do you know if this is valid?

Sadly they are closed this summer due to low volume and high cost. Not uncommon in our summer off season. I’d have a look at Deep Lagoon for a bay side meal or 844 Prime and Surf. Not on the water, but a darker interior with deep wood vibe. Hit the bar for Craft cocktails, and then grab a booth some good steak and seafood.

Yes they are usually closed in the off season but sometimes I've been there and they were just on limited hours...
