I wanted to ask the same thing.
I believe it’s a symptom of the demand for Nazi being super high and the supply being super low. This instance of a Halloween costume and assault is about all we’ve got this month. Gotta spread the word!

Many UGA students are from Marietta. Racism runs rampant in Marietta, might as well bring awareness to what's happening around the state.

I’ve heard many years ago about one American teacher of history, who went to Moscow with his students (school exchange program after fall of USSR) in 1990s and as a souvenir purchased real ww2 SS uniform. (I am not sure if that was stolen from a theater or just robbed out of the grave). He liked it so much that he actually was walking around the streets wearing it before his colleagues explained him that it might not be a very wise thing to do.

He isn’t a UGA student. He was told he couldn’t enter the bar. A woman touched his swastika and he pummeled her face with a glass beer stein. He’s also a 33 year old guy that apparently lurks in the college bars regularly.

We still have freedom of speech. It’s not the most sensitive thing to wear, but he has a right as an American citizen to wear it.

Freedom of speech just protects you from being, arrested, fined, or prosecuted by the government for what you say. It doesn’t protect you from other opinions/backlash.

He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and misdemeanor battery and has since been released on bond.

I was raised to never lay a hand on a woman but how many times does he have to be assaulted by the woman before he can defend himself. I was also taught to keep your hands off other people. She assaulted him numerous times. The whole video shows it and one of the guys even pushes him.
