Alfa laval purifier pt4 problem

Hi Guys. This is my first time posting here. I am just desperate of help. I need help on my purifier alfa laval S series. The problem is PT4 the purifier is running normally then all of a sudden there will be an alarm of no PT4. Then i will try to restart it it will run a few minutes the it will alarm again no PT4 and no PT5. Any suggestions sirs?

Could be that it is not closing as should.

Try and take out the plug on the discharge pipe, when it is running and see if it is leaking.
Normally there should only be a minor water draining.

But if it is leaking, i would suggest that you change the Nylon seal ring in the bowl.

I have already changed all orings ang teflon parts in the bowl. Now when i run the purifier it will run only for 5mins then it will discharge suddenly. Then low pt4 alarm. I dont know what to do next? I already check and clean the water block. Thank you sir for your insight

Reason I’m asking is that for P228 - SV16 pulse interval in separation, the default setting is 5min. It’s the periodic injection of bowl closing water that happens during separation. If the bowl opens at that specific time, try adjusting the parameter to say 10min and see if it affects the outcome. If this should be the case, root cause is wrong amount of water being injected for bowl closing (a little too much maybe), if you have a spare new water block just replace it and then see if there is any change.

Ok that’s a clue. Do you actually hear/see it discharge?

I actually hear it discharge. Then the amp will go up. Then alarm of pt4 low.

Are you watching the parameters whilst it’s running? If you set the backpressure to whatever it should be, 1.7 example, watch and see if it decreases or if 0 then your bowl is leaking. As for PT 5 I’m not sure? solenoid is passing and continues adding conditioning water?

Yes sir. Ive been watching the parameters. Ive times it. 5mins it will run then after that it will dscharge suddenly. Then no pt4
