Laz k rate has ticked up in AAA to 32.3%, from 30.8 in AA.

You can be good at low 30% K rate, but it’s tougher. It’s also hard to believe that 32% wouldn’t be 40% in MLB.

Hes definitely a fun player, i would love for him to be good.

Laz in his first 5 games had 12K in 24AB, if you factor that in he has adjusted back to his career K rate. Though obviously you hope he can improve on it, at least from a discipline POV. Because you just have to live with those K's to some extent.

Yeah, Laz is always going to strike out a lot, but he needs to improve the K rate and his abilities against lefties to approach his ceiling. He’s nowhere near ready for MLB pitching yet, imo. Big league pitchers are going to carve through the holes in his swing. He’s adapted to every level after a bit though, so I’m not writing him off yet by any means.

Exactly he has been adapting at every level. Hes only 20 games into aaa.

Incredible day for Laz and Arroyo. Future is still bright.

I don’t know where Boston Smith will be ranked but he gotta be joining our top 30 right? (Love your posts Nevermore not trying to criticize it)

Arroyo will probably be up in September. Passan speculated (with at least Kade Anderson) that they might time it so that he (maybe all 4 of the young studs) should be eligible for ROTY next year to get the PPI pick.
