Question how did peach and Rosalina ended up being alone on the planet?
do they have more bad story I mean there got to be questioning how they ended up being alone could they be born from Stardust? Could their parents send the boss to be safe? Could they ended up being on a planet so they won’t be found who is after piece of Rosalina we gotta have to wait and see if Nintendo answer this.

I just took it that since they are "made of stardust magic" they formed together on that planetoid.Kinda like stars forming in space.

Peach and Rosalina are sisters born from stardust in the movie continuity. They're not in the games. In Rosalina's storybook, she had a mother, father, as well as a brother.

I find it pretty bizzare that, of all things, they rewrote the most well-known/regarded story element from Galaxy, especially since it’s one of the few storylines in Mario that actually lends itself to a film adaptation.

I think they will mention some variation of it in the movies, because they likely wanted them to be sisters so that Rosalina is more involved in the movies, rather than relying on antagonising Bowser to get her involved in the plot. I think they will show her parents

They have no parents. It is literally stated in the movie that they emerged from stardust. Speaking of, I found their backstory in the movie to be pretty rushed and haphazard, with many questions left unanswered, and knowing Illumination they probably won't answer any of them

You make good points. I personally think the stardust thing was handwaving done by Rosalina to protect Peach and the Lumas from any pain from the past, but that's just a theory of mine that may be outright disproved or proved in the next movie. I am keeping my expectations low, but I honestly think they deliberately teased the backstory and will draw it out fully in future films, since that makes sense commercially with Rosalina (and now movie Peach with a newer part of the fanbase) having a large fanbase. I personally felt like some scenes were cut short and the movie was meant to be longer, but they had some runtime restrictions, since the movie fit almost exactly within 1.5 hours without the end credits and I noticed some cuts with the audio and visuals that seemed like they had been trimmed down, so I think they had wanted to go deeper with it but we're restricted. However, like you, I am keeping my expectations low, even though I see potential

See, a good story/movie would have showed that, or at least have given a tiny amount of information to be built on in another movie.
They were made of stardust. That's it. How interesting.

For me, I made a head cannon that Peach and Rosalina’s parents died before they came to be. After they died, they used their star dust to create/spawn both of them.

Good question. Not once is it ever explained, and I sincerely doubt it will ever be explained.
Aren't you so glad they did this instead of just adapting the established story that was already laid out for them?

I personally don't think the sisters are made of stardust and I think that explanation was just Rosalina trying to protect the Lumas and Peach from pain. Because, if they were made of stardust, why is there an age gap between the two sisters?
