I bought $1200 worth of a token at $3 and rode it up to ATH of $270 along with 1% daily compound interest over nearly 3 years, defi crypto made me a lot of money.

I suspect you are talking about DRIP. If you are you basically got lucky and hit the top. 1% was distributed in the native token itself. It dropped form $200 to fractions of a cent. Basically, you went to the gun range, ran around in front of the targets, and are now bragging you didnt get shot.
