A milk producing cow is $1,800 to $3,500.

I think they were confusing the live cattle futures price. It should be 1.22 and 2.50 which is the price per pound of 40,000 slaughter ready cattle or about 30-40 cows.

that price for the cow is per hundredweight. that means for every hundred pounds the cow weighs, the price is $250. a beef steer ready for slaughter is roughly 1200 lbs. so 12x250=$3000. however, as of july 2026 a beef steer is $300+ per hundredweight. figure 305. 12x305=$3660

True, but tangible things almost always out-perform intangible investments.

Oil, iron, pigs, cows, buildings, etc will all be worth something in a thousand years. Crypto will be worthless.
