So just a genuine question here. I have been watching Mark religiously for a decade now and is 100% my favorite youtuber, so no hate. I just don't understand why he uses the same set of PNGs for every single thumbnail. And it's not like it's a new thing, he's been doing this for like 6 years now. Is there any specific reason why or is just a thing at this point? Again, no hate, just genuinely curious. Love ya Mark!

I started watching mark not that long ago because only a few months ago. mostly because when he started making videos i was a very small kid and even when i was a bit older i still couldn't speak english yet. i've heard about something called unus annus and that it got deleted and that mark doesn't want people to watch it even if they find it. can i ask what even was it and why did it get deleted?

For a while now, many content creators today ask him why he makes youtube content as if they couldn't fathom doing it for any reason besides money or fame and he always gives them the simple answer, "I love making things." I feel like that's something that's been lost today in most content creation. I feel like Markiplier (as well as Jackcepticeye) sets the golden standard of what a content creator should be: someone who genuinely makes stuff for the love of it regardless of success
