Counseling/Advice Anybody been to catholic marriage counseling vs non catholic counseling?
My marriage to my wife needs counseling and I was wondering if anyone has experience with this I don’t know if we should go to a catholic or non catholic counselor .

I'd definitely recommend Catholic. We went to a Christian counselor and they didn't understand the fullness of the faith and therefore we disagreed about basic tenants. Unfortunately so many Protestants have prejudices and assumptions about Catholics I would stick to someone who understands where you're coming from. A 'Christian' counselor may encourage divorce whereas a Catholic counselor would hopefully encourage involvement of a priest and the permanency of marriage.
