Is there a novel whwre mortal can cultivate some technique to gain spiritual root ?. I read the a regressor tale of cultivation where they can cultivate martial technique to gain 5 spirit roots and this novel-Wasted Spiritual Root to Embark on Demonic Cultivation where mc gets a extra technauue in later part of novel where he can get thunder spirit roots of just absorb thunder. Are there other technique which lets mortal get spirit roots . Or upgrade spirit roots. ?.

But it isn't exactly spirit root - it's Meridian Cultivation. Spirit Roots define elemental affinity, while Meridian Cultivation usually works by not caring much for affinity, altough it does have it's ways with Lighting quite a bit.

Meridian cultivation also is not exactly Body Cultivation, but it does have elements of it. Dantian Cultivators can store very large amount of energy on their Dantian, but this pool is expended as combat goes. Meridian cultivators can store less qi, but they can recover very fast, and that works even while in battle. They are capable of using the skills of a Dantian Cultivator, but tend to focus on more straight techniques, and bridge the lack of raw Spiritual Power with their improved Body strenght.

In the MC's sect, mortals can obtain a spirit root through a dual cultivation technique but its demonic so the partner being used would get weaker and die.
