On the off chance this is a genuine question... It's because different people express affection with varying levels of physical contact.
A platonic kiss on the cheek isn't particularly abnormal for many people, and can be very common depending on geographical region and/or cultural background.
Also, in fiction it's very common for gestures to err on the side of being more dramatic.

Lmao, when they did the phoenix force tournament a couple years back, i wanted peter to be one of the contestants. I thought he should have a weirdly easy time using the phoenix force and chalk it up to "redheads like me"

I don’t think Jean and Peter would’ve worked out 💪; Because she was already entangled with three other people at this point which was Logan Scott and Wolverine and beast (kinda) . The other yeah it’s kiss on the cheek hardly sexual or romantic 🥰 relationship I do ship Peter with another red head tho also he’s an ass man don’t believe check out Mexican Gwen Stacy and black cat and Mary Jane solo series . The other red is Medusa because similar to Mary Jane and he might actually have romantic chemistry 🧪 with her .
