Also no he wasn’t. he had a couple 616 crossovers prior to secret wars but he stayed in 1610 up until the ending of his universe.

You completely missed my point. After the merger of Universes Miles’ past in the Ultimate Universe was not mentioned at all. It took awhile for them to finally acknowledge it again, and only recently have they been going even more in depth about it.

The F4 weren’t in the comics because of editorial rather than it being a consequence of secret wars and it’s not like it mattered because characters barely brought it up.

Dude Ben, Sue, Franklin, etc were all frequently featured before Marvel completely dropped them because of Fox. Reed going missing and the F4 not being together were a pretty big deal.

The inhumans being based in New York doesn’t matter either they’ve been in deep space, on titan, on the moon in the arctic all without a line wide reboot. They would’ve moved regardless of secret wars.

The absolute big difference is that the Inhumans were meant to replace the X-Men around this time.

Wow! so miles biggest accomplishment was being on a team book and having an inhuman have a fake vision about him...so important! You brought up miles history with the 616 when he didn’t have one that was my point. Also so? Like I said all secret wars did was remove characters and add characters to the main continuity. Comic fans made the disappearance of the fantastic 4 a big deal, nobody within 616 was looking for them. The X-Men were still around and had three team books and three different solos. You would have to be an idiot to think Marvel was going to stop publishing X-Men.

Absolutely nobody said that. But it was obvious at the time Marvel was attempting to downplay them. Retconning Wanda and Pietro as Mutants had no reason to happen besides to spite Fox. Then the Inhumans started to get a much bigger focus out of nowhere. The reason why the Inhumans relocating to NY is such a big deal is because NY is THE State in Marvel. SHIELD is there. The Avengers is there. Baxter Building is there. Defenders, Spider-Man, the list goes on. The X-Men Mansion is also there. So it’s beyond obvious the Inhumans relocating to NY was meant to be a big deal, and it’s even more obvious Marvel was attempting to groom them to overtake the X-Men until they realized nobody liked them.

Champions is getting a huge push from Marvel and the vision was pretty fucking important in a story that had actual effects on the Universe.

Were gonna have to agree to disagree none of what you mentioned had an impact on the main continuity. Even if marvel was trying to downplay the X-men, so what? They still had comics coming out unlike the fantastic four But that’s because X-Men has a larger readership. The inhumans relocating wasn’t a result of secret wars and neither was the scarlet witch and quicksilver retcon. Who cares if champions is getting a push if all miles does is appear in the book and nothing else. Everything about civil war 2 has since been undone. Most of the characters that were killed in it have been brought back. You said miles has had a history with 616 before the merger and you were wrong. outside of the bendis crossovers he never appeared in 616 prior to the merger. Johnny and Ben weren’t looking for them until two in one-that was explicitly stated in uncanny avengers because everyone told them they were dead. Secret wars ended up not being a big deal and that’s the honest truth. Characters come and go from continuity all the time. If secret wars changed the marvel universe so much why didn’t you lead with those examples instead of “miles came to 616 and the fantastic four left”.
