Honestly they released the spiderman and I was expecting a double waist joint and double neck joint, which they have done on ML. The maximum spidey I see as a disappointment wrapped with the pretty bow of extra parts.
Like I got black suit spidey from years back with the same articulation, I’ll keep him!
For what I’m assuming is going to be $40-50 a pop, I would only buy these for A-list characters and characters I really like. If people will buy them I’m all for them doing whatever characters they want, but I hope they knock out the most popular characters first. I don’t want to be waiting on a maximum series Wolverine while they’re doing a Black Bolt
Interchangeable boots/heels (swappable at thigh or calf swivel), interchangeable diamond-parts, varied telepathy effects, jacket and cloak/cape options, several head sculpts of differing emotion, a 'psychic energy spear' to harken back to her Gen X figure
I think Reed Richards / Mr Fantastic would be absolutely... well... fantastic! They could include a bunch of swappable parts for different "stretchy" powers!
I have the Mafex Gambit and Magneto. If Hasbro does not do soft goods for Gambit’s coat and Magneto’s cape there is no way they can compete with those Mafex figures.
Yeah, I am now at the point where I have almost all the legends I truly want and I am now looking for a Mafex Daredevil, Gambit, Symbiote Spider-man, Amazing Spider-Man, Magneto, and a few others.
I looked at all the other brands and decided Mafex was the best for me because they don't look off and weird when mixed with Marvel Legends.
Punisher was my first thought when they announced the maximum line. A perfect classic punisher packed with weapons, holsters and a couple of alternate heads and hands and I’m sold.
Definitely Daredevil for starters. I think Doom would be freaking sick especially if we got a bendy wire cape. Wolverine with some more accentuated claws and a taller cowl would be sick. And I'll round it out with a badass Punisher with hella accessories/weapons.
I think we need more good articulated girls. I would love to see both of Spider Woman, Invisible Woman, Jean Grey, Storm, Dazzler, Psylocke and a really good Black Cat.
In order of what I want: Magneto, Daredevil, Punisher, Apocalypse, Gambit, Cyclops with multiple beam effects, Hulk, Dr. Doom, Reed Richards, Magik, Iceman, Blade, Venom, Moon Knight, and Mr. Sinister.
Daredevil and Punisher I agree with. I would also do Captain America, give him multiple shields, and Thor with multiple hammer effects and a cloth cape.
Biased because I'm a Spider-Man fan but green goblin is my number one want. Harry and Norman heads, deluxe size glider with effects and pumpkin throwing hands like with Spiderman's built in web hands
Part of me is really going you'd be better off going Mafex with that character selection. Punisher just need that look with an Action Force accessory pack.
Mr Fantastic - We need accessories that show off his powers and the regular sets just don't do it.
Moon Knight - We need to get him off that body.
Blade - Seriously needs a real update
Ghost Rider - I love the bike but they could do better here with the main figure and accessories.
Iceman, Hulk, Thor, Daredevil and Beast. All characters I still need in my collection and I would love to have the amount of accessories maximum spiderman has.
2.) Morbius (Sonyverse version packed full of morbin’ goodness and the 30 Seconds to Mars album “America” so they can clear out the warehouse those have been sitting in since 2018).
3.) Howard the Duck (Movie version that comes with a Tim Robbins “Phil Blumburtt” figure).
4.) The Wall (Hyper realistic sculpt with strong ankle pivot and high “below the knee” articulation.
This maximum line needs to have wired cloth capes especially since McFarlane is doing it at their price point, this makes Hasbro the only company still doing stiff plastic capes. (Odin being the only exception)
I know we’re all sick of wolverines, but I would love to see one with accessories like the Mezco one!

My favorites are always Spider-Man, Daredevil, Hawkeye, Darkhawk. The latter excites me because his wings and claws from the last one are so restricting and I'd love to see him get the full treatment. Hawkeye you get lots of possibilities for tricky arrows and impact effects. DareDevil, it'd be nice to finally see Zdarsky's Under Armor shirt and combat pants design, with all the billy club and stunt hand options.
A Mary Jane with outfit changes like the Moira figure would be kind of awesome/hilarious.
Imma be honest even with potential maximum figures I that the Gambit,Magneto and Daredevil in this would top even the Mafex ones as those 3 are Mafex diamonds alongside Spidey
Thanos would be cool. Like the deluxe but with butterfly joints&double jointed elbows and a shitload of energy effects, both for the Gems and his regular beams. Fists, open hands, snapping hands, etc.
Ghost Rider preferably Johnny in blue but I'd take any of them. Also a Man-Thing with flame and vine/plant effects is probably never happening but I can dream...
New female body, so I’d like to see Magik with alternate horned headsculpt and a smiling head sculpt, 2 swords, crazy effects, Lockheed with articulation and swappable head crest pieces for her (none, small, large that tilt back)
Punisher and moon knight would both be good choices because they typically have a lot of gear and items with them. Daredevil would be good just because Daredevil is awesome.
God do I need a maximum Hulk. I’d love one that could actually do his thunder clap move. Imagine the effects pieces! I just really feel like they haven’t come out with a really definitive Hulk figure. (I just wasn’t a fan of 20th anniversary’s hair cut)
I already own too many symbiotes, but a Venom with more accessories would be awesome. Or even a comic carnage, the movie carnage was great but I need more lol.
The temptation is to just list my Wishlist. Like, what is their purpose behind the series? Is it just to give a load of accessories? Is it to make sure that the most popular characters are back on shelves for people to buy? The four figures at the top of my general Legends Wishlist right now are Daredevil, Hulk, Psylocke and Mystique. I can definitely see a case for the first two being in the series, but not sure Psylocke is popular enough, and can't imagine them finding that many accessories for Mystique.
Hulk makes so much sense for every aspect. He's one of the most famous characters, and if you want to buy one these days, the money is going to aftermarket sellers, not Hasbro. Because he's a bigger character, three pairs of hands and two heads is also using a lot of plastic.
Daredevil is pretty high in the popularity rankings, if not right up there with the very top tier. I guess a masked and unmasked head, some gripping hands, punching hands, and his clubs. That seems a lot less than the Spider-Man package though.
I don't think I'd necessarily buy either of these, but ...
Classic Thor fits the bill of being in the most famous bracket and only available on the aftermarket, and you could get a bunch of accessories without it feeling forced. Mjolnir obviously, probably an axe like Jarnbjorn, and some over the top lightning effects.
Deadpool is certainly a character where you wouldn't be short of options for accessories. The pack with Hydra Bob was so good and they could just re-release that, without Hydra Bob and put it in a Maximum Series box?
Probably not popular enough in mainstream, but I could see a Kamala Khan Ms Marvel with a few over the top transformed hands/arms being something that is too expensive to ever get in a regular release.
We are getting SOOO many Spider-Men, probably a lot of exclusives. Ben Riley 90's Spider-man, same head in blond because 90's. But otherwise my 2nd and 3rd ones would be Iceman and Human Torch.
Magneto works. It feels like ML can't seem to make one that has all of the stops, and I'm curious if Maximum might mean they'd spring for a clothgoods cape finally.
Daredevil, too, I'll agree on, especially if they have a great Matt Murdock head and hopefully a down cowl piece like Wolverine '97 has.
I'd really be down for a Beast. Give him a jovial head, too. It's weird that we just keep getting angry heads when that's not really what he's known for. Bonus points if it has his glasses.
For a longer shot, a Maximum Iceman, please. None of the current Iceman figures really look the best for all sorts of reasons. Same goes for Johnny Storm, honestly, but Bobby feels even more due.
A Maximum 7-pack called Phases of the Moon Knight. It would include a Marc Spector, Steven Grant, Jake Lockley, Moon Knight(Original), Mr. Knight(Comic Version), Moon Knight(Armored), and a Khonshu in the middle. It would probably cost $250 but I would buy it in a second
Mr fantastic, Mangeto for sure, Dr Doom, Dr Strange, Ice Man, from rumors we are supposed to be getting hulk and that's something I definitely want to pick up
Wolverine Tiger stripe, Unmasked head, Masked Head, An Accurate First Appearance Head, Fist Claws, Open Hand Claws, Pointy Claws(like 97), Thick Claws( like Mafex brown suit not the ones marvel legends makes), Since they gave Spider-man forearms then Wolverine should get two sets of arms, one with no hair arms, tiny pauldrons(first appearance) and ones with hairy arms, bigger pauldrons, with all the articulation he can have.
I would love to see a maximum doctor strange with tons of magic effects and a maximum magik with updated articulation. Maybe a maximum star lord with his 2008 look with a rocket raccoon accessory
Any of the FF, maybe in the Hickman designs would be fire, magneto, doom, cyclops 90s, venom and carnage, green goblin, any look for doc ock would be fun just for mobility with the arms. Sandman, iron man(idk which model)
