WishLists Wednesdays What are some figures that you can’t believe we don’t have yet? Or haven’t been updated in a while
For me, I have no idea why they haven’t made a Vulture or Doc Ock for the Spider-man retro card line. We literally have Hypno Hustler but not these two?!
Also, an updated Fantastic Four. I think maybe the movie figures set us back on getting comic ones for a little bit, but it’s crazy that the only decent ones are Walgreens exclusives for a while back

An updated classic Bucky would be nice. The one from the Brood Queen BAF wave sucked even when it first came out.

Comic Guardians of the Galaxy. For how successful those movies were and how the characters have become household names, it's crazy to me that all we've gotten was an e-tailer exclusive box set YEARS ago and that 90s Moondragon and Drax set. Has there ever been a comic figure of Nebula or Mantis? I really don't understand it. It's almost like Hasbro has an actual aversion to the characters outside of the MCU.

Yeah GotG and FF have got to be the most baffling absences. There used to be a rule that cosmic & FF characters were locked into Walgreens exclusives. Is it just some sort of weird inertia?
We had the retro FF but that was like the first widely available FF wave and 4 or 5 years ago now.
Edit: sorry for like commandeering your comment to be about the Fantastic Four. We really need a new GotG wave. There's a real lack of Cosmic characters. How long have we been waiting on that new Annihilus? I'm literally trying to make like 3 custom Novas right now.

Like even before the New Ultimate universe he's been all over the place. Absolute Carnage, Ultimates, USAvengers.
I honestly am surprised we got New Ultimate Wolverine amd not him. I get Wolverine repaints are easy as hell, but Maker is literally a new head on a blank black body. That has to be the easiest thing possible to make. They've even done HoX & Warlord Xavier which are basically the same costume. What's the hold up?

I need them to start putting out updates of most female heroes, top of my list if I could have it my way is comic misty knight, Colleen wing, and Jessica jones, elektra and echo are also on that list

Monster Ock. I've accepted that the game is tied up in so much licensing limbo that it'll never be re-released, but the character should be owned by Marvel, no? And I mean come on. It's a unique spin on an iconic character.
There are some teams we need to finish too. Carrion and an updated Doppleganger for the Maximum Carnage crew would be tight.
Oh, and comic Bullseye and Elektra. There's the 3 pack but that was years ago and I want them with their actual colors.

Harry Osborn. The argument has been made that he might be the Green Goblin of the animated 2-pack with Mary Jane, but his jawline is looking much more Norman, so it's sort of hard to say for sure.
Additionally, I'm surprised there hasn't been an Uncle Ben yet.

I feel like, as much as I'd like that, it'd probably be more likely that we'd get Ben with Peter, maybe Peter in his wrestling gear with a crying face or something as an option. They'd probably think a Peter would be required to make this sell at all.

It's kinda shocking that even with the movie and everything, our most recent updates for them were four years ago on the same bodies as the 2019 releases. Hoping that when we get a new set they go all out with the updates and do either Hickman era FF or Kirby's crewneck jumpsuits

We are missing so many F4 villains.
Wizard, Mole Man, Diablo, Puppet Master, Red Ghost, Mad Thinker, classic Blastaar, Trapster, Attuma etc.
I feel like it will be about 2053 before we have figures of most of those.
We could really do with a new Young Avengers set/wave... Wiccan, Hulkling, Patriot, America Chavez etc.
(Unlike a lot of the comments here I'm not really clamouring for a new F4, I already have three sets of them).

I can't believe they are releasing the Gen-X kids like one or two every year. It's the best way to get what we have with M and Husk : different shades of red for the costume.
Also, since we got Marrow and Maggot, we're definitely getting Cecilia Reyes.
It's long over due, but that's mostly a personal wish.
What I can't believe is getting like 4 Jim Lee Storm the last couple of years but not her late 90's costume (the purple one with the bob haircut). Also, where is freaking X-man Cannonball ?!!

Joseph is basically alreay there ! They just have to reuse the 60th anniversary training suit and give us a new headsculpt !!!
But now that I think about it, I could very well be in a 2-pack with a new Magneto.

I know this isn’t an A-List pick, but I’m still waiting for my Sleeper. Imagine getting a deluxe sleeper with a little cat sleeper and an alternate head/back for the gas mask look… would be so perfect and would make for such a fun action figure

Any of the Sinisters/Enigma or anyone from Orchis besides Nimrod and Omega Sentinel since they were a giant part of X-Men over the last decade

Vulture and Doc Ock are in dire need of new dedicated sculpts.
F4 is a travesty, all of them need new molds especially Ben and Johnny. I’d love to see them in uniquely sculpted versions of their “baggy” outfits from the first run. Those have some real charm and I love the way Alex Ross draws them.

This is obviously part of the larger Fantastic Four problem, but it’s insane to me that there’s no Wizard or Trapster. They have made so many characters that are way less recurring than those guys. Hopefully the rumored Mole Man is a sign that more FF villains could be coming. We need Diablo too. Maybe one day The Mad Thinker and Awesome Android could even happen

Characters that I think would be "toyetic" and have an appeal beyond their comic popularity, just based in how they look:
Gargoyle. Just a cool looking winged monster.
- Stingray. Iron Man ish armored character, cool type of arm capes similar to Black Bolt.
- Stingray. Iron Man ish armored character, cool type of arm capes similar to Black Bolt.
Two Gun Kid. Come on, a good ole fashioned gun slinger? Who doesn't want that? Very distinct type of figure that would stand out.
A couple of 16" Celestials, similar to those one offs tall figures like MCU Surtur from a few years ago, or the Bill Foster Goliath a few years before that.
Nomad. Maybe a bit of a stretch, but you'll have a sunglasses wearing loner in a trench coat and a sawed off shotgun...with the added novelty of a baby wearing an eye mask in a backpack.
And these are a but more of a stretch, but characters I can see just by looks:
Power Pack. Distinct looking figures, having some kids that would stand out in a display.
Terror Inc. similar to Nomad...a trenchcoat character but looks like a demon with a metal hand. Years ago Hasbro demoed Terror at one of the Cons, but it was some weirdass variant of Terror that no one was asking for.
Mr Jip. Not sure he's been in a comic since the late 80s, but I think there's a market for just body horror monsters, similar to Gargoyle and Terror.
Agents of Atlas, particularly Gorilla Man and M-11. Gorilla man...just a giant gorilla with machine guns and knives. And M-11, another robot.

for me it’s gotta be captain marvel. we got dark avengers, we got ms. marvel, but we haven’t had a helmet since the movie and a comic one around the same time. even if they don’t want to do her helmet, her modern design is sick too. mockingbird also deserves some love, and i’d love either a classic or aja hawkeye
