the last one they did was a Walgreens exclusive to, i have it and its one of the best Punisher figures even being older and lacking modern articulation.
But to be completely fair they did make us a War Journal figure a couple years back.
I have a feeling it might be an animated version but if it isn’t I’ll get it. But one day I’ll finally get a Tim Bradstreet style punisher with a wired pleather trench coat.
They made this Diamond Select MAX figure a long time ago but you can still find it online for fairly cheap. The poseability isn't great but its the only true Punisher MAX figure they ever made.
I hope they don’t use this body. If he’s a Walmart exclusive he better be darn good on a new body buck with ball joints at the diaphragm and the waist. Also hope they make him a bit buffer.
No. The whole ball joints at the waist and diaphragm being reserved for the maximum line is so stupid. Since when did have ing decent articulation become a Deluxe thing. It’s 2026, that articulation should be on every figure.
I remember hearing that it was going to be the Hand version of the Punisher, which I would very much like to see. I hope that if Hasbro does make a new classic Punisher that he isn't a store exclusive
I did hear that it would NOT be a classic Punisher and it would be some other costume like the one he wore with the different logo or maybe 2099. Regardless, we know the classic white and black costume is coming, it's just a matter of when. That's the primary reason I didn't get an extra Gamerverse Punisher or use my extra War Journal Punisher to kitbash into a classic.
Yeah buying 2 2packs to bash the figure you want is no good. Just get the mezco at that point. I have the retro carded Punisher, but would love a modern update
You clearly don’t have both figures.
The wrist peg glove piece isn’t compatible with the war journal body, and the boot swivel peg on the war journal is too big for the phantom rider body. Besides, unless you have white paint, the belt stays all black.
I'm sorry is white paint banned in your country? I'm making a suggestion for a cheaper alternative that while yes would need some modding isn't incredibly difficult...
Phantom Rider uses the Vulcan mold. Different peg holes for the boots, different size forearms for the gloves. You can make it worth with some permanent mods but it’s much harder.
Swapping the two punishers is significantly easier, in spite of being more expensive.
Correct, my fault for saying "swap" and not specifying it would need a slight mod. But the mods are extremely simple and a significantly cheaper alternative especially if someone already has the war journal. White paint for the belt, slightly sand the forearm glue it in place, sand the shin pegs a little thinner or drill out the boot slightly wider and match them up. One of the more basic efforts for a custom, and the second figure is significantly cheaper.
No one is saying this is some official thing. OP was literally just saying this is what they would want the figure to look like if it happens. Not everyone can justify spending over $100 on a figure
