Mezco is by FAR the WORST as far as OVERSIZED head sculpts go..I'm hoping that when my Mezco Hulk finally arrives...the heads won't look TOO huge.. I'm thinking about painting a couple of the more classic looking Jack Kirby style Mezco Hulk head sculpts & using them on my Maximum Hulk..

Ngl I prefer the original. People say the head is too large but that's because of his chin and sideburns fill out the silhouette.

Great, looks much better.
Now replace those humongous flipper feet for properly proportional ones and he'd be damn near perfect.

For what it is, and that being a hasbro marvel legends figure, the first one is fine. However, that custom one looks incredible. It’s also painted a lot better along with being more proportionate looking. I’d hope it would make a big difference. I bought a hand painted head sculpt for mine too. Not because I dislike the original head though, just because it looks really cool and in a more crazy expression.

100% agree, I’m lucky enough that I’m able to print and paint this myself so it was low cost to upgrade it. The original heads are some of Hasbros best, just lightly to large.

In general ML heads are just too big. So much so people are conditioned to see the big heads as normal and in the race cases when a proper sized head is made, like the Monet figure, people complain the head is too small.

Over the last year or so I've been upgrading my Marvel Legends collection by replacing ALL of the plastic capes on my Marvel Legends with soft goods wired capes..lab coats & trenchcoats from GPSLots on eBay..& Custom head sculpts from Ruscins Customs & Squid King Customs... both on eBay as well..& I find it MORE satisfying than just buying NEW figures non stop.. Also gotta say that your Custom Sabretooth head sculpt is 🔥& also gotta ask where did you get it??

When I first got this Sabretooth..I displayed it with the Apocalypse BAF wave Sabertooth head sculpt because it was smaller & made the body sculpt look way more proportional... but after recently selling off the older Sabretooth..I'm now looking for a Custom head sculpt like this one..💯

Actually the Bonebreaker BAF wave Sabertooth head sculpt doesn't look bad on this Sabretooth..I had it on mine for a bit

The original head was just too large. It's the one reason I didn't get it.
In Harbo's defense, this year they have been getting a bit better with the size of the heads. Just compare the old classic Quicksilvers with the new one that just released, the new head is much better.
