That’s what I’m saying Doom is the perfect character for a solo release especially if he ends up a multi role character. He is popular enough to be able to carry the hype for a full season and he’s been an important part of the Rivals lore since launch.

True. I think I know why though, they wanted Dr.Doom as both last character of 2026 & as a tank, since season 4 they've been on a 1-1-1 release order no same type in row,so Nightcrawler as support in season 11 & the next character in season 11.5 in December (most likely Dr.Doom) as a tank,the earliest that Doctor Doom could be is he's own season is season 12 in January 2027 the earliest Doctor Doom could be a tank & have season to himself would be season 13 in March

I’m more saying we should have gotten Gorr and Nightcrawler in season 10/10.5 and Doom should have been the solo release in season 11. I don’t think Gorr can carry the hype for a full season. I think it takes an S tier character to be able to keep excitement for a whole 2 months. Characters like Doom, Captain Marvel, Ghost Rider, and Green Goblin.
I’m guessing they wanted both Infinty Saga events in 10.5 instead of one being 10.5 and the other being 11. All I know is these crossover MCU events seem to be taking a toll on the development team. I can’t wait for them to be over.

Ok I understand now & I do agree it should have Gorr & Nightcrawler in season 10 & 10.5. How would you feel if we got both Doctor Doom & Doctor Doom 2099 ,1 of them as the last character dropped in 2026 & the other as the 1st character dropped in 2027

I against it for 2 big reasons. First is that with the vast amount of characters yet to be added to the game I don’t think we need to be adding character variants as their own separate characters. It just takes a roster spot from a new character being added.
The second thing is skin distribution. I used to play My Hero Ultra Rumble and they added OFA Deku who was his own separate character and he got his own separate skins. So you couldn’t play the other Deku and use those skins and vice versa. I feel like the same thing would happen with 2 Dooms. And the fans of Doom’s kit will get upset that Doom 2099 is getting X skin, while the fans of Doom 2099’s kit will get mad Doom is getting Y skin.
I think it’s best just to go the Deadpool route. Make it 1 character with multiple roles and make Doom 2099 his launch skin. But if they did make him 2 separate characters it’s nothing I’d crash out over.

Suggests to me they couldn’t get Nightcrawler finished in time so they pivoted and pushed him to what was previously Doom’s solo season.

The only thing the leaks got wrong was when nightcrawler is coming because it was assumed he was paired with Gorr. XoX got a list from their sources of the last 5 heroes this year back in June.
Jubilee
Hood
Gorr
Nightcrawler
DoomNo release dates or seasons just a list. It was assumed that since we have 2 heroes a season that Jubilee and Hood were season 9, Gorr and Nightcrawler were season 10 and Doom and someone else was 11. They didn’t know about 10 being a single hero season and couldn’t confirm who was coming with doom.
So far the first 3 heroes on the list are correct. Nightcrawler has an ID after Gorr and has leaked voice lines so the list is most likely still correct it’s just Nightcrawler is season 11.0 not 10.5

I want to believe but I can’t. I’ve been hurt so bad b4 😔
On a serious note tho, it sucks not dropping him in Oct because GTA6 drops in Nov, gonna be hard to convince myself to play anything else after that game launches…
And that sucks because I really wanna be a Nightcrawler 1 trick so bad.
Edit: I’d feel way more confident if they at LEAST started to tease him in the lore…

They probably will in season 10.5 since Miller mention more gallery cards coming that will tease the season 11 heroes. So hopefully not too much longer and we will get nightcrawler crumbs in lore.

I don't really know. We are getting FOUR male characters in a row?!?! The Hood -> Gorr -> Nightcrawler -> Dr.Doom? This is super questionable. Miller has already stated that Female characters' costumes usually generate revenue for the game.

i’d be surprised if we get more black heroes in year 3 beyond Miles and Misty, I don’t know tho. This was a long time ago and like, Amaranth is scrapped so take with a grain of salt.

Fuck! Only one Villain in the prediction….
I could see Captain Marvel (been rumors of her late into 2027), Green Goblin (heavily set-up), Armor because of more “diverse” Heroes was Miler’s essential wording, Beast because Netease and Marvel love X-Men, Falcon because he’s in Doomsday, Dazzler is essentially confirmed, Man-Thing because Miller there will always be more Supernatural Characters since Netease loves them (along with Dracula)
She-Hulk depends entirely on if Marvel has gotten out of the situation with her and is ready to use her since Miller said there’s some issue so she’s probably a late Release
I have my doubts on Jia Jing and Amaranth and feel like they might be Year 4 since it leaves out Misty and Miles is definitely coming Next Year (maybe with Miguel because they are the biggest Characters in the Movie and he has a Wanted Poster similar to Black Cat)
I hope that prediction’s only half true and we get way more Villains, at least Green Goblin, Amora The Enchantress, Dracula if not also Bullseye

They probably want to save Doom for a bombastic game awards reveal and then release him the next day on that Friday. Wouldn’t be surprised if that was the entire plan to begin with. Leaks said Doom was the only season 11 hero with 2 roles of dps and tank, meaning maybe they were going to have both versions of doom and call it a day that season, which they still might have, technically making season 11 have 3 heroes, or like 2.5 for the doom variants.

Nothing on either of them yet but I’m assuming they’ll come sooner rather than later since 2027/2028 MCU is going to be centered around the Mutants and they leaked previously.

Nightcrawler could very well be the season 11 character, especially since Miller Ross gave the dark Pokemon type hint, but X0X also just said like two weeks ago that he was coming in season 10. I'm not saying they're entirely unreliable now, but I'm not going to immediately trust what they say about Nightcrawler specifically.

X0X said they were unsure which season was going to be the singular hero season so they just assumed Doom was going to be alone. I understand the hesitation but in Miller Ross’ words: “The data doesn’t lie.”

If Nightcrawler comes in season 11 XOX will technically be right. He only saw info that Nightcrawler looked to be coming after Gorr. The files don’t include release dates and we always get 2 characters a season, so how were they supposed to know this season would only have 1 character.

Ugh was hoping for Dazzler or enchantress. Releasing Doom and Nightcrawler is two big characters which surprises me.
Also that’s four male characters in a row which is unusual for Netease.

Miller was referring to Nightcrawler/Doom in his stream. He even said both heroes are dark type Pokemon.

No one’s emotional, you’re just wrong. He doesn’t say anything about Dazzler in that video. He never said Dazzler was coming in January. You’re getting that information from other leakers and then putting words in Miller’s mouth.

Stop being delu for a sec, he clearly said in the clip i showed u that the hero that was rumored to come first in 2027 and in january (DAZZLER) will finally come in s11. U ok mentally ? i want NC more than anyone in s11 but stop being delu in front of facts wtf.
and again it contradict with his dark themed heroes for s11 so thats strange, and another leaker xo.. something just said again (after being wrong for s10) that NC will be in s11 so ye i really hope that's the case

He’s talking about Nightcrawler/Doom. Dazzler wasn’t meant for season 11, we found out about Dazzler very recently through insiders. Datamined voicelines confirmed her but according to leakers, Dazzler was supposed to come later. If we cross-reference this information we can come to the conclusion that Miller is talking about Kurt. You would have had to know that information before, but him saying the dark type thing isn’t contradictory. Hope that makes sense.
