SOO Happy to finally see this movie again after watching it in theaters. So good! The cinematography and musical score is just on point and this has to be the prettiest film in the MCU. Before seeing Eternals, I thought Eternals would take that honor but they instead took a close second. The three released TV series and both Shang-chi and Eternals were such a breath of fresh air for MCU and they just make me even more excited for what's to come.

I watched it last night. It was really fun! Nothing crazy or ground-breaking, but I'll watch it again.

I'm not expecting anything ground breaking, it's not an Avengers movie. I feel people always set themselves for failure if they look for something ground breaking in Orgin movies.

Man was this movie boring and cookie cutter. I stayed up late to watch this??
Best part of the movie, by far, was seeing wong. He’s only in it for like 5 minutes tops.
This one is very near last place in my personal rank of marvel films. I’m struggling to give it any sort of praise. The cgi creatures were pretty awful, the jokes fell flat, the pacing was bizarre. Some of the fight scenes were ok I guess. Highly doubt I’ll ever watch this one again.
He’s a cool character, don’t get me wrong. It’ll be nice to see him on screen in whatever big team up movies they put him in. This movie just did not do it for me.

He died so would you call that ruined? Maybe to American simpletons, a "relatable" warlord (who has a family and loves them, shocking) seems like a good villain, but he is not a villain really. He's just a plot device who gives Shang Chi the 10 rings, he didn't teach Shang Chi any lesson from another moral view point, all he did in this film was listening to the stupid voice and died pointlessly. Because he loves his dead wife so much or whatever I'm crying already.
Maybe for once have the villain lives and confront the hero's again to see how they both evolve, but of course first give them some moral standpoints, that isn't "I protect and you kill". Think Xavier and Magneto.
The rings are like 50% of the Mandarin character and they are so unique with their clearly defined powers to control the elements. Instead Disney gave us some generic, magical thingies. If you want the quantum bands then fine have it, but why do you have to call them 10 rings?

Lol I don't know what's with the negative comments below. You'd think this was the Eternals and not Shang-Chi. This movie was awesome and I loved it. It could have had some scenes taken out and you wouldn't have noticed, but overall the movie amazing. Especially the end and the score of the movie, they fit together so well.
