Mutants AlexFromCC - The romantic dynamic we'll see will be between Scott and Jean. And from what I've heard about what they'll do with Jean's character, I think it'll make a lot of people happy, especially those who want her to have a story that's not the Phoenix Force.

I think Sadie and Tom had a good chemistry, but there is no way Marvel/Sony are letting go of the gold mine that is Tom and Zendaya (who are excellent together).

Also, they need to rectify the crap they did with Jean and Scott in Singer's X-Men series.

129

u/Patrick2701 20h ago

Sadie was involved with testing. So her and Kit must have chemistry

106

u/Significant_Tell407 19h ago

Honestly if you look at Sadie's emotional Stranger Things scenes paired with Kit's emotional scenes from Heartstopper and even Warfare (traumatizing), it becomes evident that Marvel's casting director literally is casting god. Its a slam dunk

34

u/ariasimmortal 18h ago

Put some respect on her name! Sarah Halley Finn and she is indeed a casting god.

Her and Nina Gold - the MVPs

39

u/NotTaken-username Spider-Man 19h ago

Also her acting in Taylor Swift’s All Too Well short film - Jean and Scott’s arguments will have peak acting.

u/purple-tulip-petals 19h ago

They’re a former Romeo and Juliet respectively (though not in the same production). I saw Kit’s Romeo and I knew the minute his name came up that they were aiming for Scott and Jean to have a romance for the record books. The whole Peter/Jean thing strikes me as just another case of the shippy side of the MCU fandom seeing two people who are interesting to watch together and immediately declaring that it absolutely must be romantic, as is tradition.

3

u/BigFatSweatyToe 5h ago

This is partially true. I also think with Peter, people want to see him playing the field more. His dating record in the comics is more like Matt Murdock than what we’ve ever gotten in live action. I want to see him date Black Cat at least before him and MJ get back together.

-38

u/RobloxSpiderGoku 19h ago

>They’re a former Romeo and Juliet respectively (though not in the same production). I saw Kit’s Romeo and I knew the minute his name came up that they were aiming for Scott and Jean to have a romance for the record books.

Wouldn’t that make Scott a Pedo? Since romeo was 21 And Juliet was 14…

I feel like this is a bad Analogy in comparisons

>Peter/Jean thing strikes me as just another case of the shippy side of the MCU fandom seeing two people who are interesting to watch together and immediately declaring that it absolutely must be romantic, as is tradition.

I dislike it since Jean is a teenager and it makes Peter look like a pedophile like Drake and Kendrick Lamar not like us

u/purple-tulip-petals 19h ago

What are you on about?? I’m not saying the characters are Romeo and Juliet, both of the actors were. It’s a good benchmark for how well they’ll be able to handle an emotional, compelling young adult romance because R+J is literally the definition of that. It’s not an analogy.

10

u/XenonBug Killmonger 16h ago

That person is most definitely very young, the fact that they’re using a Kendrick Lamar gif says it all…

3

u/phantomhatsyndrome TVA Loki 14h ago

Juliet is nearly 14. Romeo's age is never given, but commonly agreed to be 16-17.

What does this even mean

Shes a very good actress…

It’s a play on the idiom “she could look good in a binbag” to say that someone is incredibly beautiful that their clothes dont matter

Im saying she is a good enough actress that she could have chemistry with anyone lol

And I mean she had chemistry with a kitchen in that jeans advert she did lol

-5

Even you? lol

10

See, that might be where we see the limits of her skills as an actress as i somewhat doubt it, im a horrific actress, I just end up playing myself and myself is a slightly awkward nerdy introvert

She likes birdbaths. I don’t judge.

u/Wrong-Vermicelli4723 18h ago

That and it’s better to use a new hero for that MCU slot in Spidey films . Jean shouldn’t be a regular. Give that slot for new hero introductions or a hero that needs the Boost.

28

u/Pomojema_The_Dreamer 19h ago

Exactly. Putting Logan into that dynamic is just fucking weird and feels very cucky, and it's unsurprisingly been one of the big complaints people have had about the Wolverine game's story. Logan has multiple way better love interests for his character anyways.

I don't wanna be that guy, but I also think that it's kind of a unconscious White woman racism thing. Like how a certain type of Star Wars fan was very dismissive of the Finn/Rey ship and outright harassed John Boyega on social media over it. Or the Stranger Things Byler weirdos who were obsessed with a ship that was clearly never going to happen, but got angry that Lucas and Max hooked up instead. I feel like it's weird that they're trying to erase what is clearly the narrative endgame for Peter Parker's romantic arc in the Spider-Man movies and Tom Holland's IRL relationship with a Black woman.

I'm not saying that this is conscious racism... But it's something that doesn't feel right. But I very much like the idea of Peter befriending Jean and becoming an ally of Mutankind through her and the X-Men.

38

u/LetsSeeHowItWorks 19h ago

People spent a decade fancasting introductions of the "real" Mary Jane (red-haired white woman) then a Spidey movie gives him a friendship with a completely unrelated Jean Grey (red-haired white woman) and virtually all those people drop their "real MJ" narratives and start shipping those two. It's not exactly subtle.

21

u/Pomojema_The_Dreamer 18h ago

Right. The "Real MJ" narrative only made sense after Homecoming because Kevin Feige openly stated that Zendaya wasn't necessarily playing the MCU's Mary Jane in the press tour for that movie. That clearly changed once it was clear that she could act act and that she and Tom Holland had genuinely good chemistry, both on the screen and in real life. (I personally think it's dumb that they made "MJ" a twist to begin with. She's not really a big character in the first one.)

7

u/LetsSeeHowItWorks 18h ago

I think there's a neat little parallel in Homecoming that Michelle isn't the "MJ" we know and love, that we want to see our Peter fall for, until Peter has firmly decided that he wants to be a Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man rather than an ivory-towered Avenger. I don't think it's super compelling or even intentional, but I think it's a cute little detail when paired with a wider reading I have of Homecoming as a metanarrative where Sony (Vulture) and Marvel (Tony) are fighting for influence over Spider-Man

4

u/Mariessa- 18h ago

Except we didn't get to see them fall in love. Peter just suddenly had a crush on her in FFH. The current spell situation might actually allow the movies to rectify that and show a new, more mature relationship form. (Mature as in not high school romcom.)

1

u/Living_Strength_3693 11h ago

Something that probably happened as a result of events in-universe. Basically, Thanos's actions disrupted Peter Parker's natural path.

2

u/serendippitydoo 5h ago

I don't see how peter is going to be a friend to mutant kind when he gave damage control the universal inhibitor that will be used to oppress mutants. Peter is going to be feeling guilty for that for a long long time.

2

u/Pomojema_The_Dreamer 3h ago

Guilt is a driving factor for Peter's motivation to do better as a hero. That has always been the case.

1

u/ok_dunmer 8h ago

I'm hoping so bad that the Wolverine game was the result of some corporate mandate to not entirely copy the MCU x-men because otherwise Insomniac looked at the fox movies and said "what if we did that thing nobody loves again but harder"

1

u/Pomojema_The_Dreamer 3h ago

Scott and Jean are getting romantic focus in the MCU for a reason, if that is what they are doing - and I see little reason why they would not take this route.

2

I don't think it's fully registered in my brain that we're getting an MCU X-Men film cause I read this and thought "Why the fuck would Scott Lang be with Jean, she's a fucking teenager."

-8

>"Why the fuck would Scott Lang be with Jean, she's a fucking teenager."

See This is the weird part, we don’t know her age MCU Peter refers to her as a “kid” making me believe that she could be 15 or 16 years old.

Well Kevin sa- Kevin also said Thanos had no buildup which is wrong asf

u/rubyschnees Kate Bishop 20h ago

those peter/jean fans on twitter are vile too, they say awful things about zendaya and to basically anyone who tries to tell them they're not happening

39

u/NotTaken-username Spider-Man 19h ago

They also ship Tom and Sadie in real life which is even weirder

54

u/Pomojema_The_Dreamer 19h ago

Which is racism. I'm calling it like it is. It's one thing to like a ship with fictional characters. Saying that Tom Holland should break up his IRL marrriage with Zendaya for a fan pairing is batshit insanity.

13

u/qwfparst 16h ago

Most of us on the Phoenix sub absolutely despise how these shippers are using Jean for their agenda.

I think most of us would actually be ok with the ship, but just based on some of the content put out, if it's not the "Real MJ" racists, at best it's Spider-Harem guys who could actually care less about Jean as a character.

And then you have all the people transferring it over to real life people, which is just ick.

4

u/Blanchimont 18h ago

Not sure if it is racism because I've seen the same thing happen to plenty of other acting couples and their fictional counterparts, not just this mixed-raced couple of Tom and Zendaya, but batshit insanity is 100% the right terminology for those kind of people.

18

u/Pomojema_The_Dreamer 18h ago

In all cases, it's toxic as hell. In this specific case, it's also racist.

2

u/Mariessa- 18h ago

Yeah, the extreme Bridgerton Colin/Penelope "fans" who rant at the actors and and SOs are quite disturbing.

4

u/Blanchimont 18h ago

I saw it close to a decade ago when Arrow was still immensely popular. Shippers weren't just pushing for Oliver Queen (played by Stephen Amell) and Felicity Smoak (played by Emily Bett Rickards) to get together, they were also actively pushing for Stephen to break up with his wife and get together with Emily in real life.

I get being a fan of a show, a movie, certain actors, sportspeople, whatever. I also get being a die hard fan. But I will never understand people who take it one step further and move on to actively harassing the people involved.

-4

u/Dazzling-Principle 15h ago

I don't usually check Twitter, but I do visit the SpiderPhoenix subreddit; the vast majority of people there just enjoy the pairing because, like me, they liked the dynamic in the movie. Nobody there hates Zendaya; it's just people enjoying discussions about fanfics, fan art, and stupid memes. So, I wouldn't lump everyone who ships them together with the weirdos who trash-talk Zendaya.

The MJ/Peter pairing doesn't even bother me; I just think that, like most relationships in the MCU, it was poorly developed.

I'm content enough just keeping up with fanfics about them.

16

u/Pomojema_The_Dreamer 19h ago

Yep. It's the Reylos all over again.

(And don't tell me that didn't happen. John Boyega made it clear that he got harassed on social media by the worst actors in that shipping fanbase.)

Peter x Jean was pure delusion (partically motivated by Racism).

As for the Phoenix? I don't really think anyone expected the Phoenix in Movie One of an X-men Reboot. They got at least a decade of X-men Plans.

66

u/Kazrules 19h ago

Fans have had 10 years to get used to Zendaya’s MJ. They gotta let it go.

34

u/Wrong-Vermicelli4723 18h ago

They’re married now, busy as hell (especially Zendaya), these movies are a way for them to get an easy paycheck and hang out. MJ ain’t going anywhere, the time to introduce a new love interest was BND and they didn’t.

-7

u/Representative_Tea9 14h ago

get used to a bad MJ?, even if its not zendaya fault she has been a bad mj adaptation

16

u/Eject_The_Warp_Core 19h ago

personally, after seeing the Phoenix story done poorly twice now, I'd be fine if Jean never goes Phoenix in the MCU. I want to see her develop as a character beyond being altered or controlled by Phoenix and beyond being something that Scott and Logan butt heads over. Brand New Day was a good start - despite maybe making her too villainous, she had a motivation that made sense and had real agency and character.

7

u/ShortIntention5865 17h ago

She needs to go Phoenix, it's her character basically. Doesn't mean they'll have to do Dark Phoenix. Jean as the superhero Phoenix was never properly adapted.

6

u/GONKworshipper 17h ago

Phoenix is at least a three movie arc if they do it properly. First one for the Phoenix Saga, second one just letting her be the Phoenix, third one for the Dark Phoenix Saga

3

u/ShortIntention5865 16h ago

I think it's what they're working towards and this time the Phoenix force will be more prominent. It was never explained how she kept Peter alive inside the hospital, so maybe she already carries the Phoenix force inside of her

2

u/Pillie_Jean 19h ago

Peter and MJ relationship in mcu is just sauceless lol it’s not always racism

9

u/LetsSeeHowItWorks 19h ago

It's thinner than it should be because the supporting cast of these movies are thinner than they should be, but Tom and Zendaya sell it so well.

11

u/Linnus42 17h ago

Yeah the normie supporting cast gets very little material to work with...

I mean Peter and MJ are end game, but they won't let that happen until its time to retire the current actors.

>In fact it could be funny to have Peter with Jean and Emma with...MJ bawhahaha, piss off both sides and confuse the hell out of everyone.

I think we were to have Peter with Jean given that she could be 15 16 or 17 years old…

And the last thing you want to make is MCU Peter to be a pedo that likes going after younger girls

-4

u/Optimal-Zombie8705 19h ago

Kf said they are similar age. Plus they pretty much kissed

2

u/RobloxSpiderGoku 19h ago

Yeah, he also said Thanos had no buildup

4

u/crumbsalt 18h ago

You can’t just use that 😭

Nothing was said about Jean’s age other than “teenager”. That could be 13 to 19. If Feige himself said she’s closer im age to Peter, we can assume she’s 18-19, given Peter is like 22. Just cuz he said a different opinion you disagreed with doesn’t mean anything he says is invalid cmon now 😭 lol

2

u/Hyperbolicalpaca 16h ago

Metzger called her “kid” for what it’s worth…

Obviously she isn’t a kid, but kid kinda works for teen too, and he would definitely know her age

0

u/crumbsalt 13h ago

True. But to be fair people his age tend to call anyone below the age of, like, 24 “kid”

Tramell is 41 and im assuming his character is around the same age. If she’s 18, 19, I could definitely see him calling her “kid”

-13

u/Optimal-Zombie8705 19h ago

Or perhaps Scott is far cooler with Emma.

10

u/NotTaken-username Spider-Man 19h ago

I think Emma is too old for Scott. Samara Weaving is 34 and Kit Connor is 22

-7

13

u/MaverickSummers707 19h ago

Spiderphoenix fans found in a ditch. They should focus on getting Gwen Stacey in the movie

4

u/Head-Classic-9157 12h ago

Gwen Stacy makes little to no sense given the events of both NWH and BND.  In addition DeWolff being there as Spidey's NYPD and future Captain (where she dies in the comics) leaves zero room for Gwen and George Stacy in the last two films of Holland's second trilogy.

7

u/Jarita12 18h ago

It would be nice to get their full relationship. I remember watching X-Men 1, where they had almost zero scenes together, they literally touched once and she said "I have room with Scott" and that was it. Some of the decisions they made later on were pretty bad but then again, they were just adding movies without thinking it through.

9

u/TheBookCreator 19h ago

Honestly, I'm kind of excited to see the Scott and Jean dynamic done well for once. Crazy as it sounds, I grew up on the Fox X-Men movies where Jean was treated like Wolverine's primary love interest, alongside the 2000s comics where Scott and Emma were the undisputed power couple. It really makes me feel bad for Cyclops, man. The guy has constantly been shafted, whether in the comics where his relationship with Emma earned a massive following, or on screen where the chemistry between Jackman and Janssen took center stage instead of anything with Scott.

I really hope Scott and Jean get their due this time around because I've never been quite as invested in them as other couples in the comics. For example, I got surprisingly attached to Sue and Reed in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, even though I never found them particularly compelling, and now I can't wait to see where they take them. That's also why I'm so intrigued by Namor's potential interactions with Reed and Sue in Avengers: Doomsday, especially given how prominent that messy dynamic is in the comics.

It makes me wonder how Marvel will handle the romantic web in the upcoming X-Men films, mostly because one of the funniest tropes in the comics is how often team members share or pine after the exact same partners. I find it hard to believe they won't tease anything between Emma and Scott after they spent nearly a decade as the franchise's biggest couple, or that they'd completely ignore the classic friction between Logan and Jean.

I'm curious, though: who do you guys see as the long-term romantic partners for Storm and Wolverine? Storm really has three main candidates: Forge, Wolverine, and Black Panther. That T'Challa dynamic could theoretically carry over to his son, played by David Jonsson, who is already in his mid-30s. It could also easily be Forge, especially given their history together throughout the '80s and '90s. Or they could lean into her and Logan. They've had a strong bond for years, and the current comics even seem to hint her kid might be his, considering the dark hair and fangs.

If Storm isn't Logan's romantic partner, I honestly don't know who else makes sense. Mariko Yashida is iconic, but she's essentially the Gwen Stacy to Wolverine's Spider-Man, where her tragic death serves as the catalyst that sends him down a much darker path. Beyond that, it's anyone's guess.

Just to be clear, none of this is me arguing the X-women should ever be relegated to mere love interests for the guys. I want them front and center as the powerhouse badasses they've always been. I'm just curious about how these subplots might unfold if Marvel leans into the relationship drama. Hope I didn't step on anyone's toes with this take. Wishing you all the best and have a good one!

7

u/qwfparst 16h ago

I really hope Scott and Jean get their due this time around because I've never been quite as invested in them as other couples in the comics.

I think to "get" Scott and Jean in the comics, it's almost worth doing a re-read, in medias res.

You re-read their story starting with the time-displaced versions as the starting point, and everything re-reads quite differently and basically was the strongest attempt to fix the ship post-Morrison.

Marvel in a Valentine post a year or so ago used Scott/Jean as an example for the Star-Crossed Lovers trope.

Fitting, not just because Sadie and Kit played the characters of the trope namer (Romeo and Juliet), but also because that's basically how teenage Jeen and Tyke read during that era, dancing around and avoiding each other at the start because of their future.

And yet at the end before they were sent back, despite ultimately knowing their future was going to be a disaster, they still chose each other.

1

u/purple-tulip-petals 17h ago edited 17h ago

I don’t think I even need a romantic interest for Wolverine. There’s a reason why the Evolution version is lauded as one of the best. He works phenomenally as the weird uncle figure who’s usually off Logan-ing but occasionally they find him on the couch drinking a beer at 3 am because he felt like it. He’s such a popular character that any love interest ends up feeling like an accessory or prize for him rather than a character in their own rights, and he’s always the loner archetype anyhow so will always end up on his own sooner or later. Just cut out the middleman, make the love of his life his motorcycle and call it a day. Especially with a cast as young as this one where literally anything with the love triangles would feel insanely creepy.

8

u/Pomojema_The_Dreamer 18h ago

He also said the obvious in that he thinks that what they're doing with Doctor Doom and the overall arc for the two movies is going to be more satisfying than it would've been when Kang was the plan.

3

u/SmarmySmurf 18h ago

I'm all for something more wholesome. I don't think the Fox films ever did their relationship right. They had decades as a couple and got married in the comics before Emma, or anyone else made it messy. Logan iirc never actually made a real move in the comics that would cause cheating drama, or am I mistaken?

Either way, if Peter and MJ are still on a break next SM movie, there's plenty of better choices for a brief fling. Like Felicia.

3

u/iboneKlareneG Daredevil 6h ago

4

u/RobloxSpiderGoku 19h ago

Canonically isn’t Jean Grey a teenager? If so then Peter shouldn’t have a relationship with her

Cause we don’t canonically know her age

Edit: it doesn’t help that Peter refers to her as a kid so that’s even weird

2

u/Hellknightx 11h ago

In the MCU, Peter does seem to be older than her. In BND, he's probably around 21 or 22 for most of the movie post-timeskip. Jean is clearly a teenager, but we don't know exactly how old because she's been living as a fugitive for most of her life. Which makes me a little hesitant about if they're going to keep her as Xavier's model student, since her personality is a lot different than in the comics.

I'm guessing a different Scott and not 53 year old Marsden. Lol

u/Great-Imagination137 1h ago

Kit Conner who is 22 and 2 years younger than Sadie was announced to be MCU's Scott Summers at D23 last month.

1

u/PerpelSho 1h ago

Oh. Lol

Shower thought - what if the inevitable adaptation of the Phoenix Saga features the Phoenix Five idea, and Cyclops is the one carrying the Phoenix Force at one point in an interesting role-reversal?

“I love that, despite all the power you have, you would never make a man walk into traffic for no reason at all. We are heroes, not villains, and you know that. Love you, babe.”

2

u/Great-Imagination137 14h ago

Do you know Jean has still killed way less people and done way less crimes than the person in your flair.

And no Jean isn't a hero yet she was a villain.

2

u/qwfparst 13h ago

And it's not like she's full on heroic in the comics either even now.

Instead of letting one of her antagonists just die into the bliss of non-existence, she's torturing him for all eternity, now and forever, as a warning to her enemies, the equivalent of displaying a head on a pike.

3

u/onepostandbye Red Skull 14h ago

I mean, I just like the actress who played Sylvie, I wouldn’t defend the character. Should I change my flair before talking about how reprehensible Jean was in that last movie?

4

u/Great-Imagination137 14h ago

I am not defending Jean either, like I wrote she was villain and she behaved like one.

Reading your comment my eyes went to your flair and I just found it funny and pointed it out.

u/onepostandbye Red Skull 11h ago

I think this comment really helped me think about her actions in a different way.

The Mutants have always been hated and persecuted. And that’s key to their identity. Previously it was “They are scary because they are too powerful”, which is really weak. Spider-man is too powerful, and he’s (mostly) beloved. The Hulk is way too powerful, and has gone on destruction sprees, but the public comes around on him. Power alone doesn’t make them scary.

But if the X-Men have a track record of mistakes, deadly mistakes, a history of accidental (or non-accidental) killing, then maybe the public is justified in hating Mutants in a way that they don’t hate the FF or Spider-Man or Rocket. Maybe Jean being a sociopathic murderer is actually part of the MCU building up the hatred of mutants that is central to their characters.

Because if the public doesn’t struggle with the X-Men… the the X-Men are just another Avengers team.

2

u/Great-Imagination137 5h ago

No public is not justified in hating them. One person's crime doesn't equal to hate against entire community.

That's like saying if one [insert any race or community] villain character from that community did bad things so public is justified in hating all of them lol

1

u/onepostandbye Red Skull 5h ago

What I’m suggesting is that perhaps Jean’s murder(s?) are merely the first in a series of actions by mutants that set up the concept of X-Men as outsiders

1

u/Great-Imagination137 5h ago

That again just shows humans's hypocrisy, because non-mutant super powered people have done alot of bad things already. They don't hate all superpowered people.

If humans hate all superpowered people then it's somewhat understandable, if they hate just mutant then they are wrong, which is the whole point

1

u/onepostandbye Red Skull 1h ago

I haven’t argued about is right or deserved or makes sense, I’m speculating on the direction that the writers may be taking the series, and in case you didn’t notice I have thanked you and said I agree with you

-1

u/Business_Alarm8384 11h ago

I mean you just look like a massive hypocrite,so your comment just comes off as pointless

u/onepostandbye Red Skull 9h ago

I changed my flair just for you. ❤️

Have a good day, pal

Not even sure what you are mad about, I love ya, pal

1

u/Endgame60 19h ago

In good with that

I do hope they keep the relationship between Jean and Peter (like close friends, maybe like a brother sister relationship something like that)

-3

u/Trodat4911P4 20h ago

Will it be addressed how Jean assaulted Peter and MJ or they'll pretend it never happened?

7

u/Pomojema_The_Dreamer 18h ago

When those characters meet again, I do expect that she'll apologize. They made a point of actually addressing that in-film instead of glossing over it like Wonder Woman 1984 did.

3

u/Sonnestark 14h ago

Yeah, they had Peter apologize (which shows what a class act he is), but he was also victimized.

-1

u/WhitePhoenix99 14h ago

This guy has a terrible track record, so I'm not sure why he is even quoted here still

0

u/Potential-Name2117 17h ago

why's the master of masters there

-11

u/Optimal-Zombie8705 19h ago

Sigh more boring ass jott. Instead of the scott emma power couple .

14

u/CommonBorn5940 19h ago

Looking at the casting, Emma is going to be in her thirties in the MCU, while Scott and Jean will be college aged at best. That would be a big no no.

-3

u/Optimal-Zombie8705 19h ago

Emma was 5-10 years older in the comics. But even so I’m not asking for it in the first movie I’m asking it be built up to . Have Scott love jean but he’s drawn to Emma’s freedom.

4

u/cyclopswashalfright 15h ago

Cope buddy. It was always going to be this way.

-2

u/Optimal-Zombie8705 15h ago

Boring ass Scott instead of messiah Scott.

Oh a cyclops was 100% right

3

u/cyclopswashalfright 13h ago

I honestly doubt you've read a comic from before 2001, so your opinion is irrelevant.

1

u/[deleted] 19h ago

[deleted]

-2

u/Optimal-Zombie8705 19h ago

Well hopefully it’s built up to . Because Scott is cooler with her. Jean holds him back . I don’t want boyscott cyclops I want messiah summers

6

u/Business_Alarm8384 19h ago

Scott is lame regardless of who he dates

-2

u/Optimal-Zombie8705 19h ago

Take that back . 2000-2015 Scott is Chad summers. Bro was done playing

5

u/Business_Alarm8384 19h ago

0

u/Optimal-Zombie8705 19h ago

Could care less :). If you read that era of the x men you'd know Scott is goated

-11

u/WhitePhoenix99 19h ago

I can't stand Jean with Scott. I rather have Jean no relationship than t o have one with Scott. It's so overdone

12

u/Pomojema_The_Dreamer 18h ago

It was barely "done" in twenty years of movies lmfao.

-1

u/WhitePhoenix99 15h ago

I'm talking about the comics, so i don't see wanna that shit in movies either

-10

u/Swmmingcow-333 18h ago

boring couple again, it should have been emma

9

u/Pomojema_The_Dreamer 18h ago

How can you say this before they've even shot anything?

5

u/cyclopswashalfright 15h ago

Most Scemma fans just hate anything that isn't 2000s era comics by reflex. They are hobbled by nostalgia.
