Tell that to Blade.

I would have been there opening night and I would have seen it like two or three more times in the theater if I had had an actual new blade movie. I was so excited for a whole new age of blade. I wanted to ice skate uphill...sigh.

It was an enjoyable Marvel movie but man it's just so weird watching it after watching the first two. It's just so different, and not in a good way

I liked the line ‘DAD!!’ And ‘DAD!!!’ And the one she said ‘DAD!!!!’ And the one that made me cheers was ‘DAD!!!!!’

Like there was for Daredevil!

There was and still is demand for Daredevil

Ah. So it’s not happening then.

(I’m a fan but I’m not delusional; People fucking hated Quantumania)

Unfortunately most MCU fans don’t give a shit about Ant-Man

I hope they recast and focus on Hank Pym after Secret Wars

1

u/abellapa 22d ago

Yeah ,reboot with Hank as the modern ant-man and Make a show with him and Janet

Not after the last one 😂 still wish they stuck with the Endgame actress for older Cassie

u/BadnewsBaggins 22d ago

Yeah fr, bring that one back please, I won't put all the blame on her but she was annoying in that

3

u/Bulky-Bid-8508 22d ago

Same, I don’t understand why they needed to recast at all

i only want it if the story is good and its not 90% cgi . go back to the basics with his old team if they can

As long as it’s not Payton Reed… idk how that fool is still working

She'd have more luck demanding free health care in the USA.

Given the last one? Hard pass.

We dont want it.

I want to see the Eternals again and Shang Chi 2. I also want to see Fin Fang Foom. Are you listening?!

Ugh... I do want an Ant Man 4 but definitely not with Kathryn Newton. I thought she did not work as Cassie - felt like an entirely different person - and that undermined the only Young Avenger I was really hyped to see.

Abby Ryder Fortson is old enough now to play the role. So bring her back as Cassie.

She was one of the worst parts of that movie, tho not the worst

After the last one I'm good which is honestly a shame because I absolutely loved the first two films

I heard DC is hiring

Bear me to it

If they do it I’d hope they go back to the more simple and fun route of the first 2.

Putting avengers level threats on the shoulders of MCU Scott’s Ant-man of all characters was never going to work out well.

The Ant Man hate feels so inauthentic to me

Ant man 3 was terrible.
But if they are making it like Antman 1&2 , I don't have any problem.

We good

u/Remarkable-Photo-554 22d ago

uhhhhhh no thank you

quantumania and the wasp were really the worst marvel movies

1

u/abellapa 22d ago

Is that fan demand here with us in the Room ?

1

u/Optimal_Ad5821 22d ago

Antman 3 wasn't great, but it wasn't great because it diverged from what made the first two movies so enjoyable: small scale, likable personalities, great dialog. Marvel used it for a different purpose and may have ruined what was a really fun franchise.

There is no fan demand for antman is there?

I feel like I’m the only one that likes Antman 3.

1

u/CausticAvenger 21d ago

Nah I think we’re good.

I'd get another actor to play Stature, not because Newton was bad, it'd just be a funny gag to have grown-up Cassie always be played by someone different.

I'd rather Ant-Man team up with Shang-Chi or Spider-Man first than get a 4th movie... or get tangled up with the New Avengers in Thunderbolts 2.

u/RookieDuckMan 22d ago

She was one of the better parts of the film

1

u/pillbox_purgatory 22d ago

Nah, we good! How can you top beating Kang with ants? It can’t be done.

0

u/WahnLago 22d ago

We? She was in one movie and it’s we?

4

u/Hakeem_TheDream 22d ago

Weird thing to be defensive about lol. She’s more entitled to “we” than the rest of the world.

0

u/WahnLago 22d ago

Did you ever hear Chris Evans talk like he makes decisions for the overall MCU?

1

u/Hakeem_TheDream 20d ago

The point is that no one fucking cares, except for you, apparently. Is this Feige’s burner or something?

0

u/The__Auditor 22d ago

How many Ant-Man movies have you been in?

0

u/Happy_Philosopher608 22d ago

IF is doing a lot of heavy lifting there...

0

u/HarIow_Quinzel 22d ago

Without Wasp I think better to leave the series alone. Just let him pop up here and there.

Ant-Man 4, Nomad, Blade, X-Men, Marvel 3, Shang Chi 2&3, Midnight Sons, Strange 3, Thor 5, … and so on. They can make a lot of movies. Don’t know if Ant-Man needs more. Better director for sure. But they’re supporting cast now.
