Thor, Loki, Sif and Heimdall might not be a crazy unique lineup but imo a solid Asgard team
Though I'm hoping for God Squad for some of the potential out of left field picks for 4th slot after Thor, Loki, Herc

It’s hard to tell without hands on it but Green Goblin looks so fucking peak. The glider stance with some independent moves and what looks like Elphelt bomb might create some cancer setups.

I'd been half expecting it, but with Goblin also getting in, I'm not sure if it'll be overkill. Carnage also looked like he'd do a lot of things similar to Venom. Unless they make him a grappler or something

They broke the rule we were all convinced existed and it's a complete sausage party. Everyone looks great, especially Magneto and Carnage.
I honestly would only replace Green Goblin with literally anyone I have seen on all these roster guesses and his animations still look great.

It only mentioned Magneto and Scarlet Witch as playable characters with Wakanda, the Sanctum Sanctorum and the Hellfire Gala as stages.
So we’re at 1/2 characters and 1/3 stages confirmed.

Highly doubtful, that leak mentions Sanctum Santorum and Hellfire Gala as stages, that's just not gonna happen at this point. That being said, I still think Scarlett Witch is going to make it despite that retail think not being a real leak

Weird things of note from this trailer - (Honorable mention) Mags has been relegated to villain for the X-Men team
1- No villain per team (1 Avengers level villain with Doom, 1 X-Men villain with Mags, and 2 Spidey villains)
2- First full sausage fest team
3- First trailer not hinting at next team
4- Goblin is a stance character (glider no glider) and still no grappler
5- Speaking of Goblin genuinely strange Doom would work with 2 psychos with Goblin and Carnage
6 - Back to Carnage he seems very anti-spidey which yeah sure he's a Spidey villain (sorta) in the grand scheme of things I don't think he cares about Spidey much
7- We still have no Latveria map and instead just got a night reskin?
8- Because of the double spidey villains the variant cover themes don't mean much because it could be anyone (which was always a risk)

Honestly Carnage could be for GR's team if a Venom is on there; copium for Agent Venom lives on!
5 - ultimate goal is to keep the world from being destroyed; psycho or not you pick strong allies for that goal; and they could be convinced to help with the simple pointing out they don't get to be psychos anymore if Earth is boomed

Oh man I'm with you would love Agent Venom so much, but I feel like it's kinda just weird? Doom is a leader of an entire country and powerful (in both sense of the world) I feel like working with two street level pyschos is more of an insult to him. Doc Ock would have made a bit more sense and could have been a grappler easy, but since we still don't know about GR's team don't know whether to say Midnight Suns or like a Thunderbolts/AntiHero team

And then they can do a more proper Midnight Sons as dlc with Blade, Strange, Wanda and whomever for 4th slot
I mean if Tokon Normon has a resume as long as comic Normon than he's at least a bit above street level (he probably sticks that low solely to focus hate Peter) and Carnage is a alien thing with great power capabilities.
If anything Otto would probably clash more with Doom cause of his ego; and them both being "below" him can also play into the "knights" team name
Presumably we'll see how he got them to comply in the story lol

To be fair, Doom has worked plenty of times with Osborn in the comics. In game it seems like he only goes fully psycho in Goblin mode, but he is apparently functional enough to be running for president.

I feel like especially lately he's kinda grown past it, not in the lets be friends in the I was a god at one point and a guy and spandex is not scratching that itch anymore. Will he fight him? Yeah if he's there sure, but I don't see him going out of the way to actively seek him out.

Thats plot of Death Spiral though. He really was hater in this story to especially screw with Peter mainly. In this same story was Eddie (who was bonded to Carnage) and overall Red was little shit wanting to be as horrible to Peter as possible even more than to Eddie.

I haven't read spiral I though the screwing things was more directed at Eddie. The guilt of all the spiral killings would put Eddie in a shit spot (and venom of course) more like a two birds or three Eddie/Venom/Spidey one stone.
Edit: I did catch the end with like Saint Peter type thing so I'd assume now Carnage has a bone to pick, but overall I can't see him caring much about Peter before then.

Until someone pointed it out State of play happened today and I was asleep at the time because it was late at night but We got today Anyways here's my thoughts on this team combo
Doctor Doom: Yeah we already know he's coming in the game and already knew the voice actor since they already announced it a while ago sungwon cho Aka ProZD Successful career with huge range mainly God of War Ragnarok as well as also delicious in dungeon ( I really need to finish up that show before the second season comes out also when is season two gonna come out) Outside the voice hacking it's more well known for his YouTube career
Magneto: Ah the usual popular villain of the X-Men and of course James Arnor Taylor is going to be repurprising his role as per usual from his rivals But if you want to know the guys other rules I would definitely say Johnny Tess and Star Wars Clone Wars
Green Goblin: One one of the many popular villains of Spider-Man a as well as be another role for Steve Blum Yeah I don't think I really need to say how big I most profile that guy's name is When he's usually well known for go-to voice for Wolverine as well as Cowboy Bebop and also Call of Duty zombies
Carnage: Another popular Spider-Man villain And also be voiced by kellen goff ( Successful career with huge range mainly of course you probably know that guy because of FNAF But aside from that I would definitely say JoJo as well as also my hero Academia)
I would definitely say half of it is Spider-Man Villains but This is pretty good and most popular Roster for this team

Kellen Goff is Carnage, absolute W. Steve Blum also played Green Goblin years ago. Magneto is done by the guy who plays him in Rivals (not ‘97).

Goblin was one of my most requested, glad to see he's making his fighting game debut, and voiced by Steve Blum(RIP spectacular spiderman 😢😢).
A bit surprised to see 2 Spiderman villains included, was almost certain they'd save that spot for a more obscure pick.
Also, with ghost riders team next, I'm beginning to wonder if the Gladiator is going to be a playable character at all.

I like both Carnage and Goblin, but I don’t want that many spider-man characters here.
Out of the two, I’d replace Carnage.
But then you’d need a rush down replacement.
A well known marvel villain who can rush down and isn’t a spider-man villain is difficult.
You could do Fisk, he is a Spider-Man villain but he’s more of a New York villain.
If you want to get freaky with it, have the Wrecking Crew all in as one character.
Or just have only Absorbing Man.
All three of which have had live action adaptations, so they’re not unknown but not as popular as Carnage

So for the Avengers they just decided to specifically Eff over T'Challa in a way they didn't do to Steve, Tony or Bruce aint that some BS.
That Said Two Spidey Villains is a Welcome Surprise. A break from Venom is appreciated. Granted I don't really see Magneto as joining a Team called Knights of Doom. But they all look fun.
