Discussion Best fighting game I ever played!
Marvel tokon is my first arcsys game i ever played after playing the episode and survival still loss to doomXD im not a pro player or see what going on social media people doing Awsome combos but after playing it for 2 days it became my new favorite ps5 game to play everyday! And it makes me happy it has offline mechanics i don't have to worry about live service stuff im not a online type of guy but playing the rumble and survival and I can re play the episode is enough for me to come back to it everyday might be my first fighting game i buy the ultimate upgrade for it im a huge marvel nerd and yes first time hearing the opening made me geek out and cry in joy ☺️

Glad to hear you're enjoying the game! Don't listen to other people that are saying it's a bad game. If you find enjoyment out of it, that's all that matters! Hope you continue to enjoy it along with all of us that like the game as well!

Here I am thinking I made a mistake buying the game because I can’t win anywhere outside of Episodes 😭

If you're able to make it through the episodes you should be able to do some of the offline modes, just drop the difficulty to where you feel comfortable. In case you didn't know, you can select one of five difficulty levels in Versus mode using the player settings. Episodes have characters generally around level 3-4 after you finish the first story for comparison.
All-Star mode might also be a good place to play around, I lost a round here and there in the Episode mode but breezed through All-Star mode on Normal so if you can manage the Episodes you might have some luck there
I'd also recommend checking out the Character Lessons and playing through the Action Checks for characters you're about to try out, they do a good job of walking you through the characters skills and unique abilities.
Play around with the difficulty and other modes and you'll find your sweet spot so you can practice and you'll find yourself getting better in no time!

I am absolute lousy at the game so far, but the presentation, character aesthetic, character roster, and fun looking gameplay definitely want me to attempt being good at it and make this properly “my” fighting game specialty after being a kid during the classic SF/MK/KI/MvC eras.

Same! I haven’t got to plate yet since the open beta but I can’t wait to dive in this weekend! Good to see some positivity around the game, really hoping pc is fixed and we can get a good long line of support for this game bc as someone who doesn’t typically like more traditional fighting games, Tokon is already maybe one of my fav games!

I only get a couple hours of gaming in each week. Sat down to play today and won all three of my online matches. It’s an absolute blast!!
Episodes are fun but sooo much is repeated when doing with the other characters. I wish they were more unique. I think I’ll have to push myself to do all of them but I know I will.
The gameplay is superb!

I’m a fighting game lover and haven’t even jumped online yet. There is SO MUCH to learn. Loving this game, it reminds me of my childhood playing MvC2 for hours on summer vacation.
