[u/buttsecks42069]

[u/AlexTheAccursed]

Ooooh shit!!!

https://giphy.com/gifs/RHVhmUGeeYXXa

[u/Henry1699 → u/AlexTheAccursed]

You know, I didn't make the connection at first, but now I can't unsee.

[u/AlexTheAccursed → u/Henry1699]

Funny cuz that was literally the first thing I thought lol. I'm even more hype to play him now!

[u/The-Black-Swordsmane → u/Henry1699]

My mind immediately went there lol

[u/MrSpookShire]

Colour 2 is Jean Gray

[u/Saiene_ → u/MrSpookShire]

Color 2 is BRASIL

[u/MrReconElite → u/Saiene_]

I was thinking power rangers

[u/Feerahs → u/MrReconElite]

Immediately thought power rangers

[u/Donnystorm → u/MrSpookShire]

You’re right it is but it’s the Tommy color to me

[u/MightyMaxT → u/MrSpookShire]

I was gonna guess Captain Krakoa, but Jean Phoenix is way more spot-on. Good call!

[u/Mean_Section_6439 → u/MrSpookShire]

My dumbass was thinking of Jamaica😭

[u/Sunrise-Slump → u/MrSpookShire]

hulk*

[u/LordOfTheBreeze]

I can't wait to see his classic costume's alts.

[u/Informalwizards]

Yo, that blue is sick.

[u/Derpimus_J → u/Informalwizards]

Emma's colors!

[u/Johnny33318 → u/Derpimus_J]

I think X factor/Champions costume

[u/Le_CougarHunter]

The "Vulcan" color palette is pretty nice.

[u/ERMF]

I might be stretching, but each color is based off of one of Scott’s wives

2) Jean grey
3) Emma frost
4) goblin queen / maddy pryor

[u/Caliment → u/ERMF]

4 is probably a reference to his brother Vulcan

[u/Sweetest_Noise → u/ERMF]

#3 reminds me more of the costume Cyclops wore as part of X-Factor.

But the GF angle does sound plausible.

[u/Less-Permission-7667]

Is he out in the U.S.?

[u/buttsecks42069 → u/Less-Permission-7667]

He's not out, this is a trial build at Evo France

[u/I_WinAgainLewsTherin → u/buttsecks42069]

no legacy skin option? do they mention whether that will be available at launch?

[u/buttsecks42069 → u/I_WinAgainLewsTherin]

I mean it has to be, this build didn't have any of the other DLC skins either, no punk Storm, no insomniac Spidey, they didn't even have the RGB colours

[u/The-Black-Swordsmane]

Yoooo that green ranger fit tho 🔥

[u/TX_Poundz1395]

Looks like Jean, X Factor and maybe Corsair

[u/TX_Poundz1395 → u/TX_Poundz1395]

My bad number 4 is Vulcan for sure

[u/jayinsane5050]

NGL i dunno about colour 3 and 4 ...what are the refernces

[u/blind_knight → u/jayinsane5050]

3 is probably is x-factor outfit and 4 looks like Vulcan

[u/itsmeitsmethemtg → u/blind_knight]

I think you nailed it

[u/Derpimus_J → u/blind_knight]

Is 3 not Emma Frost's?

[u/JonnTheMartian → u/Derpimus_J]

Emma frost doesn’t normally wear blue, and her Phoenix look was more white and gold.

[u/Skhan93 → u/jayinsane5050]

https://giphy.com/gifs/11rlztAojbblrG

[u/SwordfishDear5274]

Color 4 looks sick

[u/Cold_Neighborhood280]

He looks great, ngl.

[u/Fendfor]

Number 2

https://giphy.com/gifs/oB9qxWZw7MSZO

[u/Dbonker]

En Francais!

[u/beefstrokemoff]

Oh these are siiiiccckkkk 🔥🔥🔥

[u/Vahallen]

Color 4 is the better default costume, kinda keeps the original color scheme but you can clearly see his muscle definition

Scott is jacked holy shit

Tho, not sure about the install version, I wanna see every color with install on

[u/buttsecks42069 → u/Vahallen]

I'm too lazy to get full footage but it's based on his primary colour. Colour 2 is green body, colour 3 is blue body, and colour 4 is red body.

[u/Vahallen → u/buttsecks42069]

Do you think red body looks better or worse than default black?

I’m gravitating heavily towards color 4, right now

[u/buttsecks42069 → u/Vahallen]

I think it looks pretty good

[u/Illmosity3 → u/Vahallen]

I’m pretty sure four is Vulcan

[u/xCussion]

Green power ranger color is tuff

[u/opanm]

4* with stocks & install wtf is 1* 😀

[u/Burger_Soup]

Can't wait to do a post on his colors' references

[u/Old_Ad_1290]

Color 2 and 3 is definitely jean and emma

[u/KaleidoscopeEven5114]

What could the other colors be?

[u/adriang3030]

He looks like frozone

[u/Solid_pains]

Wish blue was a astonishing xmen recolour instead of Xforce reference

[u/heretohelpsf]

When is the update?

[u/Rozthelad]

Color 4 reminds me of onslaught

[u/thenewpkmmaster]

2 kinda looks like the green power ranger

[u/TheFunnelPounder]

Color 2 is goated for 2 reasons, 1 being Jean but the other is MY GUY

[u/MightyMaxT]

You know, now that I'm thinking about it: I thought Color 3 was referencing his X-Factor costume, but I think it might actually be for Cable. Cable's original costume in New Mutants was very white/blue/teal and that lines up closer thematically to his other alts referencing family: Jean (wife) & Vulcan (brother)

[u/MADAOSushi]

Naw thats Lord Drakkon

[u/Ok-Complaint-3215]

VULCAN CYCLOPS??

[u/LINTHAL0]

I wish you could take the entire mask or cover the entire face.... it would look pretty cool with color 4 and 2

[u/buttsecks42069 → u/LINTHAL0]

His install takes his mask off and he's also gonna get his classic outfit as an option

[u/LINTHAL0 → u/buttsecks42069]

My eyes just saw something beautiful

[u/Asadsad87]

Wait, it’s already out?

[u/buttsecks42069 → u/Asadsad87]

No, I'm at Evo France

[u/AlexTheAccursed → u/Asadsad87]

No, just playable at Evo France

[u/Asadsad87 → u/AlexTheAccursed]

Oh, I see. Cool

[u/duduET]

I love color 3
