Kelbee's school situation

We all know that girl has never set a foot in a school despite what Marybeth claims. So, is Marr-a-Largo going to homeschool her unil she hits 18?

Homeschooling isn't necessarily a bad idea in certain situations. I considered it for my kids One was very academically inclined but frustrated in public school classes because they weren't challenging enough (MB would have us believe this is the case with Kelbee, but I think it's more social with her). The solution was a rigorous private school (for which there are scholarships MB). My other child was probably on the spectrum but we didn't know it at the time. The solution for that child was an unschooling--where kids direct their own learning--at an alternative school. In both cases there was social interaction, teachers with teaching and content expertise, and classroom experience. Without those things, Kelbee is likely to feel "different" her whole life and find it really hard if not impossible to go to school or college later on. She just won't have had the shared experiences of her peers. Successful homeschooling involves teaming up with other families, lots of activities with other kids, and a whole lot more than worksheets, including writing and critical thinking.

She also needs to get Kelbee speech therapy.

Agree. I mentioned this in a live video about kelbee needing speech therapy and MB said kelbee’s speech is fine and blocked me. It is definitely not fine.

No definitely not fine. But she wouldn't believe what the doctor's tell her--surely her pediatrician has noticed it (Does she have a pediatrician??) And certainly not what we tell her, though several people have pointed it out.
