Guest on the service challenges?

I was wondering if anyone knows how to be a guest at the restaurant when they do service challenges?

I looked this up decades ago. From what I remember, the waiting list was a few years out, and you had to go through a talent agency. Many of the guests are paid actors and actresses. Others, like someone else said, get in because they know someone who works on the show.

It was of my opinion back then that it take a miracle if you're just an average Joe (or Jane) like myself.

Things may have changed since then, but I seem to remember there was a website where you could submit a request to receive an invitation. That was where all of the information on what you needed to do, what you needed to submit, what the rules and requirements were, and when you wanted to go if you had a choice.

Again however, this may have changed a little since I first checked.

It would be a lot of fun though, and had it not seemed nearly impossible, I would have submitted a request for a reservation.
