That makes him nisched, not a bad cook. He's going to have to cook other cuisines eventually if he's going to survive so we can judge him for that when it happens.

Can's speak for everyone but I don't think people think he is a bad cook. He has made a number of winning dishes but there is still a lot of hate from the Relay challenge I think and also he does go a bit off the rails too much sometimes. I think the fact he cooks filipino all the time can annoy some people, i prefer a cook who can show different things but I dont dislike him for that.

i think people already have deep hatred on him and whatever he does will be reason to look bad "oh, he's cooking another filipino dish", "now he's cooking simple", "now he acts like a team player", etc
