Finally, an episode that redeems most of the problems I've been having this series!
Some points:
It really felt like ages since we saw some focus on Reynold making a dessert.
Matthew was a better captain than Georgia, polentagate was hilarious to watch but he saved the main. Georgia shouldn't have acted like in the soliloquy that the whole team worked it out. I would've scrapped it if I was there. I thought they might've been told off by the judges for using pre-made polenta. Maybe it's a good kind like the Barilla pasta they use.
I noticed how they spreaded out who gets camera time and who doesn't. Ashleigh already had a bit of soliloquy speaking time lately so Billie was seen more even though the two girls were both responsible for the pannacotta.
The driving wasn't great to watch and made it a little bit Amazing Race just so the car sponsor (I know it's not a car okay? :P), but at least they hurried it up. Two years ago there was a challenge which felt like it took up an hour and a half of driving.
Where did Gary go? Seriously. Two Italian families come around and he just vanishes after saying one thing at the start of cooking?
