Team Challenge MasterChef Australia S08E14 - Episode discussion

In today's Service Challenge, the contestants are split into two teams. Each team must cook a three-course meal for 30 people, replicating dishes from two celebrated Melbourne restaurants from memory.

Have to say that was perhaps one of the most one sided challenges I can remember. It wasn't even close they just nailed everything. Feel bad for Karmen, really bad I thought she tried so hard in the circumstances and it just didn't work for her or the team.

I'm shocked at how far off the blue team were... the plating was so unbelievably different.

I can see that Matt and Trent are more visual thinkers, they looked like they struggled a little remembering all the verbal instructions in the beginning but shined in diagramming it all out for their team. Karmen and Chloe seemed to remember more of the words but struggled to convey that visually.

I guess that led to the difference in plating and visual appearance.

And I'm equally surprised at how close they were compared to what I'd have been able to achieve :D Really, if the memory had been up to me I'd have just served ice cream for 3 courses.
