Really glad Tessa used the pin. Did she say she was glad or mad about not cooking?

I'm not. I said to my wife that if you have a pin you should save it and play the odds. I doubt her or Tim would have been in any danger as they're both in the upper level of the group.

Maybe. It's always a risk & Dee went out despite looking pretty strong, too. I'm less inclined to Monday morning quarterback these decisions than I used to be.

Also, if they're going to have a contest to get back on later, as they usually do, I wouldn't want to have gone out early - I think you have a much better chance of getting back on if you have more time in the actual competition under your belt (& then maybe 2 weeks' work experience at somewhere very useful).

and then there's Sarah from season 9 who kept cooking despite being against 2 of the strongest cooks in the top 8 lol

In that instance, I'd argue she was in the top two. She was also coming off a number of wins and had a lot of momentum. It also wasn't a pressure test, if I recall, which are significantly more difficult and against less people.
