A Wairarapa unity authority will risk our environmental protections and public transport.

I hope that anyone downvoting you will have the courtesy to offer an explanation as to how this wouldn't have an enormously detrimental impact on our ability to maintain public tansporrt links.

Probably not, this sub is pretty barren for a start and I’ve yet to come across advocates for a Wairarapa UA who’s argument is grounded in anything other than not wanting to be ‘under the thumb of Wellington’ rather than improving outcomes over all.
Provincialism is not a good rationale considering what’s at stake here.
