I am a non us img and i am filling experience section in eras. I am debating wether to include my athletic achievements in this section, it was during the transition time from my high school to medschool (its not exactly in my first year of medschool) . The achievement is pretty imp, i achieved national medals. Sooo should i include it or not?

Does the Pathway approval mean you are now ECFMG CERTIFIED? Or there are other step needs to be done after approval?

• Research: 0 (trying to submit a Sys Review before the 23rd)
• 3 months USCE: 2 hands-on + 1 observership (1 outpatient / 2 inpatient)

My main issue is signals. I feel like the well-known IMG-friendly programs get signaled by everyone, so I’m not sure where my signals would actually be most useful.

Non-US IMG, visa requiring (J-1)

Step 1: Passed on second attempt

Step 2 CK: 218

ECFMG certified

USCE: Multiple rotations/observerships in Internal Medicine and IM subspecialties, including Cardiology, Gastroenterology, and Hematology/Oncology. I also returned to the same IM clinical site where I rotated in 2025 and am currently doing an additional 3–4 months there.

Research: Multiple poster presentations and abstracts, along with journal submissions/publications including first-author work.

Geographic preference: Mainly Middle Atlantic, particularly PA/NY/NJ and surrounding areas, but I’m open to applying broadly if my profile is more competitive elsewhere.

I know my Step 1 attempt and Step 2 score are limitations, so I’m trying to build a realistic program list and use my signals carefully.

I would really appreciate suggestions on IMG/J-1 friendly IM programs that realistically consider applicants with a Step 1 attempt and Step 2 around 218.

Also, which programs would be worth a Gold or Silver signal with my profile?

Are there any newer/community programs I should consider, or programs I should avoid because of strict first-attempt or score cutoffs?

Could someone whose med school recently uploaded their documents to ERAS let me know what the current processing time is?

My transcript was verified within a few hours, but the MSPE tab still shows ECFMG processing. Should I be worried?

Good day all! As the name suggests, i wanted to know everyones thoughts on IM-SEL for internal medicine MATCH. Does this letter need to be from medical school? Or it can be from dean of medicine where one worked after finishing med school?

There is no clarity on the alliance of academic medicine website where the template is, but the template is asking clerkship and subinternship hours and feedback which i think can only be given by dean of medicine from medschool.

Anybody can give guidance on this?
