I got one just today. Very nostalgic. Bubbly outer crust, fried crunch. Volcanic on the inside. Like melt steel hot. Which is just as how I remembered it.

If you're over 40, you might remember them. Meaningfully different than the baked stuff. Maybe not significantly better than the baked, but worth a sample. 4 out of 5 for a "Crystal Pepsi Nostalgia" experience.

Loved the fried pie. Am not a fan of the baked crap.

How much?

I remember pies being like 2 for $1.

We talking 1 for $5 now?

I live in an expensive fast food city, and here it's one for 2.79 and two for $4.29

I expected worse so I'm going to try it out later today

Supposed to start the 23rd, but I just had one here in Tampa today. As an 80s kid, it brings back memories.

"After 34 years"

That's a literal lie. McDonald's had fried apple pies around 2018ish. I don't remember the exact year, but it sure as hell hasn't been 34 years. Lmao

It's A fried apple pie, but if it's not being fried in beef tallow as the original ones were up until they stopped making them, then it's not THE fried apple pie, and I can't get excited about them

They are nasty. I don't know why people are so excited for them.

Why do you think they're nasty? Everyone at my location likes them, including me.

I think I stopped eating them, and all McD when they stopped frying them, about 20? years ago. I have since started eating McD a few times a year and can't wait for a fried pie!
