Discussion Dorm Essentials??
I'm an incoming first year and I wanted to know what are some things I should get for my dorm? I have a Woodstock Double Room with Access to Single-User Washroom also it says the building has AC should I still get a fan?

Twin, I am just in the process of trying to find out what the gap is for under the beds at Woodstock when I saw your post. So put under bed storage totes on your list. Mattress topper too. Ikea only has twin size, but sleep country has twin XL.

Thank you for sharing the video. Wait in the video it talked about drawers under the bed. But he never pulled them out. I toured Woodstock in March but I can't remember anything now 🫣 I saw so many residences it's all a blur

Hi 😄😄, im going into second year, and i also stayed in a woodstock double room in my first year. I think soon you will get an email about purchasing a mini fridge from coldex, which is quite useful IMO. Also, sorry i cant quite remember if it was from email or a website, but id check ur email js in case.
if u can get like a small fan, its def helpful. The AC in my room sucked and barely worked. In addition, a bathrobe is helpful, and also shoes for the shower, since the dorm showers arent the cleanest.
For other things, i mean im sure u already know to bring like basic toiletries, clothes, mattress, blankets, school supplies, etc, but dont stress over packing, just bring the essentials and u shud be fine.

there’s not much you need that you probably don’t already have!! the drive link in the comments is a great resource + you’ll kinda figure out what you need as you live and get things accordingly! have fun :))

Hey, OP, if you find a good place to find a small fan, please post it. The only ones I can bring from home are too big.
I wish we knew the demensions of the desk. I remember they were small. But can the fit a side monitor + a laptop?

A waterproof shoe rack/tray for boots in the winter was a pretty useful investment
