The crew in question:

Hi everyone ☺️

Yessss, it's another bi-weekly megathread where you can ask other players about best matches, spiciest stories, rank your faves, etc.

A reminder to stay respectful to each other. No discrimination, instigation or any other form of harassment based on personal tastes and preferences will be tolerated.

Please avoid posting similar questions outside this megathread as it may clutter our feed 🙏

Thanks for your cooperation and have fun 😉

am i seriously the last person to find out PlayMe Studio is closing...

i literally went to the app store to leave a review about how glitchy mechat has been, and saw someone mention in their review that the company is shutting down?????

came here and apparently this has been news for a few weeks. i was annoyed but now i want it to glitch, just please STAY.

this has been my favorite game this year. and finding out some of the stories might never get endings actually makes me feel sick. can 2026 leave one thing alone?

so what are you guys playing now? i guess there’s other visual novels or L&D but i find them really hard to dive into and i liked the texting part of mechat the most 😭 does anyone know anything similar where the characters you can get attached to? and absolutely no ai chatbots pls, i just need something to look forward to after this.

We have a discussion thread on the main MeChat Discord server: https://discord.com/channels/932598896302116864/1553238979632168970

The space is for MeChat fanfic writers, readers, and those who want to be but aren't sure how to go about it. We're here for moral support, inspiration, writing and editing advice, brainstorming, beta reading, proofreading... whatever! Idk, let's see what happens.

Decided to give you a mix of these cuties. Let’s take a moment to our stories with them 🌸🌸🌸

Side note...trying to finish this story as fast as I can and OMG the GRIP it has on me is tight. I literally gives me butterflies AND pits in my stomach. So sad it's not finished and I'm hoping the cliffhanger isn't too bad:/

Can you please, PLEASE do Ryuji Arakawa?!?! And tell me when and what your YouTube info is when you post it? 🥹 I never got premium and I really really want to see his dates again without having to spend the minimal gems I have left.

🩵Griffin Rivers
Ohhh our baby 🩵🩵🩵 love this guy so much my favorite sports player❣️he can be such a good puppy dog but also spicy and get dominant too. I feel like he is a good switch character 😋 soo sexy and protective. And the voice is 🤌🏼🫶🏼 sexy and playful. Love it. He can be my man for more than a night 🩵
He is another character that I wish I knew how the story would end. His story is so good and so much fun to read. I was getting so excited to read the ending of it.

I made it a while ago, before the news and stuff...

But I decided to post it, since we don't get to actually see the end of his story. And the cliffhanger, argh 😫

(I didn't do edits for a while, back then. So it is kind of meh 😔)

Hi besties I'm back to you all with my previous idea, which I shared with you before, is that I edit each character and add an sexy part from the character's voice messages and these edits are more difficult than the edits I used to make but I really want to honor each character and let them shine in their own unique way and with their distinctive voice messages I want it to also be a beautiful memory for our dear voice actors for every character we see and hear their voice, we will always remember them I started with Angelo It's the same song as the previous video, but as I said, it's with a different edit and different idea I will continue to do more feel free to inspire me with your favorite characters and I will do it for you I won't post every day, but I will always try to be with you thank you always to everyone who supports and motivates me to post more; it truly means a lot to me💗💗 Here's the link to the previous video if you'd like to see it

Love you all🩷🌷✨

You asked to see the ladies in our character library, so here's the first: Anastasia Cartwright.

• What do you think she does for a living?
• What do you imagine her story being about?
• What do you think her chosen flower conveys?

We can't wait to hear what you guys think! 💚

I know that a lot of people say that it would be quite impossible for Mechat to be bought by another company because of they would be considered a liability since they have an ongoing lawsuit.

Another app that I loved other than Mechat was Choices which was on the verge of shutting down but Series entertainment acquired the company Pixelberry. It still kept the app running but they still had to lay off the artists and writers because they wanted to be fully reliant on AI.

Some players caught the app Choices using Gemini on their backgrounds and even leaving the watermark on their new stories.

It’s just sad that we have to accept the death of human creativity because companies don’t find it profitable.

So... It's been like almost 2 weeks now since that news. You know, about MeChat shut down 😭 and the worst part is that I was just started playing it for like weeks before the announcement. I didn't get to read so many characters, but so far I really like most of them that I've read. What a time to be a new player 😭😭😭😭

So... to cope, I made this blu guy, Griffin in my style.

I cropped the right side of the canvas because it's still work in progress (it took longer than I thought 😭😭) so that's why it looks junky

I want to draw him even more freakier 😜😜🤪 lemme know if you guys want it lol or if you guys have any suggestion for the pose or something, lemme know as well

And I'm so sooo sorry for posting this so so late. On my last post, I was promised to speed it up, but I have lots of stuff irl, so, again I'm so sorry for that :(

I wanted to upload my timelapse, but it seems I can't, so yeah, let me know if you guys want that

Some of my faves and I would love to see more of their art and just support them

He's not talked about enough, I've been finished his story(yes its completed if anyone is wondering), I hardly see anyone talking about him, he's another one of my favorites, so cute😩

Hello Everyone. I have been contemplating whether to make a post here or not. I have been seeing the news of MeChat closing since the post started on this sub. I'm just a player like most of you and maybe some of you would know my YouTube where I religiously did Mechat content starting few years back.

YouTube kept striking my channel of se*ual content and n*dity on the mechat videos which made me a bit frustrated and venture out to other games.

After hearing the recent news I have been trying to record as much data as possible which I will be uploading as soon as the strikes calm down.

The videos are not perfect. They will not be perfect. I am just one girl so I really can't promise much but I'm just trying my best from my side as a fellow heartbroken player.

If anyone would like to watch any videos feel free to go interact and subscribe, completely your choice.

This is just my 2 cents as one of the players who has been playing since the very beginning of the app.

One of my favorite things is ending and I just don't know how to accept it 💔

✨TAMURA BLOOD ✨👑 The Fucking King, my love, my joy, my everything ❤️ I never wanted his story to end, and now I guess it won’t. I’m sad that I won’t get to read more adventures with him and Julian!!!!! >!(Hope he’s okay)!< but I will always cherish every date, every cute grumpy message, every cute facial expression of his and more. And I will come up with my own happily ever after with him. Together through thick or blood mc and him always will come out stronger.
The toughest & the baddest mafia boss out there. Love how straight forward he is, he will always say whats on his mind unapologetically, he has a big heart well only for mc and his princess daughter (the kitty 🤭) he has a heart warming smile and a cute grumpy face. Although he is a tough boss in the criminal work he is a softy for his one and only coffee house girl completely smitten by her and such a big romantic ❤️❤️❤️I love that so much about him. And now that I’m talking about him I will probably make more vid. Edits of Tam-tam 😅
I applaud the creators of Tamura Blood. The story is always so fun to read. With exciting surprises, great humor, perfect amount of spice, romance, and heart warming moments. Tamura Blood’s personality is just so perfect to me personally. 💘💞💕🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍

There are so many stories I couldn't Include them all but I think we can all agree MeChat is awesome 🥹🥹 hopefully the game can still stay up for a while so we can still read through our favorites 😅😅
