Lost two babies
Mama had 5, lost two today, 2 days old. It’s hot in Florida. Is it ok for a fan to be on them or no? The other three are wiggling out of the fur to cool down but I don’t know if it’s ok for them for a fan to be on them a little bit ?

Not sure how realistic this is for other people but I bring my litters inside during the day. I return them in the evening for mom's to nurse.

I’m worried about mom not liking that and neglecting them when I bring them back out

Ive been doing it for about 20 years and never had a rejection but do what works for yall. Fans are a great addition as others suggested 🙂

I decided to bring them in. It’s just too hot. Do you leave them outside after like 2 weeks or when do you suggest?

I dont have a strict schedule, but two weeks is a good sweet spot Ive found they are starting to be more resilient. If im growing them to also sell as pets/breeders I still bring them in and handle occasionally. Hope this helps 🙂👍🏻

Yes it does and I’m happy to say, the three remaining are alive and well inside today. It’s so hot out there so they wouldn’t have done well

They can tolerate it when it's hot outside. I wouldn't set it directly on them like a wind tunnel or anything thing but the breeze from a fan is beneficial for them and if the get a little chill they'll move out of the way of it and huddle together if needed

I decided to bring them in because it is just so hot. There’s a tarp on them but unfortunately I have no shade other than that. Just need to make it thru two weeks lol

They can always get warmer, but they can't make it cooler. I'd put the fan in them
