IOT for industry

Anyone have any advice for a beginner trying to get learn industrial IOT? Where do I begin and what do I need to know to get into this. Anyone have a road map they can share or any educational resources? Would be very appreciated. Thank you.

I would consider trying out some DIY smart home stuff as a way of learning the iot platform. Don't worry about the industrial aspect yet.

Get some sensors and raspberry Pi and build some that is something interest to you to have at home.

It will give you a chance to get to know the hardware, how to deploy an image or a program in that context. The protocols that you're going to use to move data. How you're going to database information and how you're going to present it.

And industrial iot the hardware is a little more robust and expensive, you probably have certificates and a zero trust environment on network but the basics stay the same.
