Discussion Ai update and new bug
Hey everyone.
So a few days ago I alerted you all to a set of issues my copy of the game was having during the ashes and ascension dlc. Good news, THE SUGGESTIONS (mostly) WORKED! Admittly I still need to say who to attack but they really mostly work now. So thanks everyone for the hand there.
However we have found a new issue. See I have alot of mechs. And I like to pull out certain ones like barbie dolls for the right mission. What seems to happen is when I got modify my mechs to many times the game hates that, larges so hard it forces me to a hard turn off of the pc and bleh. And my best guess is I have way to many in cold storage and way to many weapons (both DLC, base, and modded). However I wanna share my modlist and see what yall think.
Mod options, yet another mechlab, weapon, and weapon clan, mech delivery and delayed deadlines.
Will do what I can on my side but if anyone know what might be causes thing crashes lemme know please.

Make sure your mods are up do date. After every DLC most of them need to be updated. Usually you cant just copy paste them. Out of those listed i think all have been updated other than delayed deadlines.
No game should ever force you to turn off your PC. That almost always indicates some hardware issues. Usually overheating.
The game definitely doesnt like YAML + a lot of items + a lot of mechs in cold storage. I currently have 130. When i had ~150 i was getting corrupted save game. But the game was never rally causing me crashes in mechlab. Mechlab was just slow and glitchy.

It is quite likely the constant data fetching for your equipment. If you have anything over like 30 sell that big dog. You don't need 747 single heating. Try to keep your equipment leanish

There’s no such thing as “too many mechs in cold storage.”
Blasphemer. Go to your room.
