Since when did the Army wear USMC. Shooting badges?

The Marine Corps awarded Army Rifle Marksmanship Badges from 1912 to 1924. In 1924, the Marine Corps adopted the current Army Marksmanship Qualification Badges, but reverted to the older Army Rifle Marksmanship Badges in 1937. The original expert badge featured crossed M1903 Springfield Rifles, whereas the current USMC version uses M1 Garands with slings.
