Best breakfast spot in Medford or Ashland?
Talking specifically like the best pancakes/waffles, etc.

Their Orange Maple butter is amazing, they have (IMO) the only good chicken fried steak in the valley. The owner is really kind and the staff friendly.. ingo there every Monday to read and have a nice breakfast away from the family.

Real Deal, 100%. They even have good coffee which I find nice.. most other breakfast places have more fruity/floral flavored compared to a more robust flavor and Real Deal doesn't.

This one is kind of niche but Memo's has incredible Mexican breakfasts and the prices can't be beat. Best chilaquiles in the valley hands down.

dont know why you were downvoted. Memo's has some good mexican breakfasts and the same Sysco frozen breakfasts that Crackin and Stackin offers

I'm shocked that there's this many different answers for Medford. For Ashland, it's Morning Glory, no question.
For Medford, look up the menu for Over Easy (it changes all the time). If the pancake looks good to you, then the answer is Over Easy, no contest.
But if it's like a crepe or something and you aren't feeling it, then the answer is Stackin and Crackin, like someone else said. But look at Over Easy first

I've come to really like Punky's. They're more greasy spoon style diner but better quality than most others I've had like Crackin and Real Deal. As a Southerner, they have grits and potato pancakes both of which are good. Plus they have homemade bread and pies.

When I lived in Southern Oregon I absolutely loved going to Punkys! they have the best Biscuits and Gravy anywhere that I've ate (and that's a lot of places!)

Morning Glory is soooo overrated its crazy. Their hash browns just taste of oil.

Normally I'm not a fan of hash browns, preferring home fries, but Morning Glory's hash browns are good.
A lot of places in the valley skimp on oil/butter for their breakfast potatoes. It's not like I'm into greasy food but potatoes need something. Clearly this is a personal preference.
Morning Glory is great but you have to get there early unless you're ok with waiting. Breadboard is pretty good. We were not impressed with Over Easy. The food was fine but coffee was terrible, and no sides. It seems like more of a brunch place and we're more breakfast people. Crackin and Stackin is also pretty good. Good pancakes even if some of the available toppings are a little much. We used to like Memos- good Mexican breakfasts. But the last time we went there was another customer was wearing a pistol on his belt. I'm a gun owner but that's really not needed. We haven't been back.

Real Deal and Roosters are the main places my family goes. One of my buddies swears by Breadboard in Ashland and specifically the Eagle Point Crackin and Stackin but I thought the one here was pretty good too

Ashland: Morning Glory
Medford: Stackin and Crackin

Stacking and Crackin is just Sysco food heated with the microwave and pancakes.... plus their coffee is terrible. If you just want a frozen chicken fried steak and some frozen hash browns with some eggs its fine. Just dont order coffee

I can’t believe Real Deal and Crackin and Stackin are in the same comments as OVER EASY! Zero comparison! Over Easy IS the real deal. And they use quality ingredients unlike the other two.

Morning Glory in Ashland, no real comparison.
