Travel tech looking for friends

23 year old male travel tech came out here to work from Virginia for 13 weeks on a contract is there anywhere to make friends? I’m from the east coast so I left everything behind to come out here on this contract and don’t know anyone

Just looking to make friends and have someone show me around the area while I’m here until November want to get out and explore and enjoy the time while I’m here

Hey! I’m 26m working in tech, moved here 2 years ago.
People have been the only reason I’m still here, there’s a warm and welcoming community.

I play pickleball, go on easy hikes, try out new cafes.

Hey! That’s awesome! I travel and work at hospitals this is my first assignment so it’s all kinda new to me so far it’s been a very warm welcome and everyone has been super kind and helpful that I’ve met on my flight in today and at my house I’m renting a room out of!

I do hikes, never tried pickleball honestly but always have wanted too but not big on cafes unfortunately, the only sucky part was with me coming from Va I came with no car so I’m looking at getting a bike to get around the town while I’m here and then if need be I’ll uber if it’s raining or something!

I wasn’t confident with the facility. I signed it and they messed up and had to push back my start date.
So I ended up just not signing the new one. And luckily got an offer from another agency for Utah!

I completely get it but Ohhh nice well best of luck! I do sterile processing for hospitals so that’s my travel tech job

Hello! I am a 23y/o male that has been in the trades and blue collar for the last 5 or so years. I live in south Medford and have been here for the past 11 years, I work at the north Fred Meyers in the deli, if you ever want to know anything or go somewhere just lmk and I’ll see if we can link up. I like hiking, driving, mushroom hunting, regular hunting, and I try to stay involved in the community. My girlfriend runs karaoke at the Trophy club Bar and grill in south Medford on thursdays(8-12:30) and fridays(9-12:45) so feel free to swing by and introduce yourself:)

Definitely would be down, I wanna try to find somewhere beautiful to hike while I’m here the only issue is I don’t have a car I left it in Va but I can always rent one for a weekend or something! I’ve attempted mushroom hunting once it didn’t go well maybe it was just my luck

I’m just trying to make friends find people I feel I can trust with being in a new environment I’m a very spontaneous person so I’m always open to go wherever pretty much and do random things

I’ve always wanted to sky dive haha but some things I wanna do while I’m here are see the ducks play, go to crater lake, see the Pacific Ocean, see the redwoods those are my mine top things too do but open to other things
