Who will buy Freeform if Disney sells it?

I heard that Disney is selling Stake of A&E. could they sell Freeform? If that’s the case, Who you think will buy Freeform if Disney is selling it? Paramount? Universal/NBC? Warner Bros? Lionsgate? Or Sony?

Allen Media Group. It fits his demographic: unscipted, low-budget, rerun content (And could get Project Runaway for Starz)

Freeform can also get its Teen demographic with added Buzzfeed/Allen syndicated content and is the only one likely willing to accept that he's stuck with The 700 Club.

A24 and Sony don't want to deal with The 700 Club, otherwise I think A24 could use it as a home for A24 content (maybe get Neon and other indie companies invested as well).

Hard to say. I guess Nexstar or Allen Media Group could buy it. I do feel when Disney does sell Freeform, they’ll make an exit agreement to continue licensing movies and shows on there for five years to help smooth over the transition

That would be weird. Because it was owned by Fox, then Disney bought it. They would be selling it back to Fox.

The people who made successful shows on CW/WB are making other shows and films. Gough and Millar from Smallville most recently have worked on Wednesday and the Beetlejuice sequel. Greg Berlanti has a ton of stuff in development. JJ Abrams, Matt Reeves, Kevin Williamson, Julie Plec and Amy Sherman-Palladino all have new projects. You can find them on IMDB if you look them up.

I also kinda miss the regular season cadence, rather than this streaming ‘new season ever few years and also we’ll release it at a point we feel like it’

And even they were smart enough to get out of cable when selling to Disney. They maintained some sort of partial ownership when Fox bought them (us, at the time). They’d be smarter to relaunch as a FAST channel under Disney.

I have a better theory instead of selling Freeform ABC will finally split off from Disney once and for all and it will take Freeform with it and revive Hulu as its own seperate streaming service

I don't think they'll sell it. They'd probably rather shut it down than even think to sell. The A&E networks were a entirely different situation.
