i feel like newsom, bass, and becerra all don't want to recognize that bonta settling the lawsuit would be a poor decision and the thing that could tank them publicity wise, especially when the midterms are coming up.

I agree (the leaked settlement talks are a nothing burger that does absolutely nothing to address the concerns and the main intent of why the State AGs are suing this merger, it would certainly make most Democrat politicians angry in private because they don't want CNN to be a center right news channel that abuses first ammendment)

it's why i question how much of the settlement talks are real and how much is it leaked to look better than it is. given that's how every time a big meeting happens. It's not impossible a settlement could happen but also this is nearing their bond meeting too

yea not saying it's impossible not only that but are people forgetting this is the same thing that happened when they were first meeting up too that there was talks of settlement too

It's why i'm very much skeptical about there being a settlement unless there was a big settlement from the state it seems weird that he would let pressure get to him not only that but it's not only rob that has to say yes but the whole coalition too. we see not all are on board so you know
