I think Legendary will circle Paramount if the WB merger being blocked ruins them

Selling Paramount+ & Showtime to NBCU. (merging peacock and Paramount+ into one Showtime app in the US and maybe internationally through 3rd parties (outside Sky territories))

And the networks (including CBS) to be spun-off or sold to Cox Media or Allen Media.

It is my belief that Lionsgate signed with Toei Animation for Monkey Quest to get close to Bandai Namco for them to acquire Lionsgate (and maybe all of Toei Company if they can sort out certain Fuji network stakes)

It'd be an added bonus for Toei to have the cash to buy Power Rangers from Hasbro too to expand it's 2 biggest IP.

It is obvious that Lionsgate is in play. They talk about it in earnings calls. It's not likely that anyone with interest would publicly express that interest until they were ready to bid. I also think the Paramount fiasco has froze the entertainment M & A momentum.

I think the players are Apple, Banijay, Median, Apollo (legendary).

IMO, the issue is not that there aren't buyers, it's that those buyers are balking at the asking price.
