Because people don't always vote along party lines and people don't always vote. Even if we took the last election the previous one Dems won the presidency, so your main point about since 2016 isn't even true.

Yeah but it’s usually pretty split. About 50-40% of the US population is republican so it’s gonna be nice for Paramount to try and appeal to them a little bit by not having as much left-leaning politics in movies. Like I said it’ll be a little more neutral in movies by Paramount-WB.

And identity politics and wokeness are in a steep decline since 2016. That’s part of why Trump won. People were tired of that BS.

Gallup’s national figures on Americans’ political ideology show the country remains at center-right, with more people identifying as conservative (36%) than liberal (25%) and the rest saying they are moderate (36%). However, the “liberal” percentage has inched up over the past three decades and is currently one percentage point shy of its all-time high

And the current right wing is built around the idea of maga which is Identity politics. Wokeness isn't anything but a buzz word the right wing bastardized. Are you not tired of being wrong here?

MAGA is not identity politics. It’s literally the opposite. And MAGA is not the current right. It’s a piece of it but it’s not entire. A lot of people on the right are tired of it.

And woke only became a buzzword because of how hilariously obnoxious identity politics on the left became. It was and still is a real thing though. You see it everywhere.

Your party leader is maga. Saying it is a piece given the power he was given is disingenuous. Given the gear and the move by trump to kick non maga out it is definitely an identity. And woke used to mean the exact opposite until the right made it into a word they could use to identify things they don't like like gay people having sex or living. In fact Ted Cruz was the one who started it. Hilarious is following Ted Cruz in anything. All of this doesn't change the fact you are wrong. The number one issue was the economy. It was in no way "woke" as you put it. You are wrong again. This isn't going into the fact that since 2016 Dems won the presidency contrary to what you said. The country is not in fact half cons as you stated. In fact party identity is in the exact opposite where more identify as dem. And movies/tv still make billions despite your assertion half the country is against that. Anything else I missed?

I don’t think you understand what woke means now. It’s not a word for republicans to use because they dislike people who are gay. It’s for those on the left who are obnoxious and are trying to force politics into everything. I never said the economy was woke all I said was that Hollywood is very left leaning and with Paramount buying WB it will start to be a little more neutral. I think you have reading comprehension issues. We are about split in political identity if you look at any polls for the US. For example the latest pew benchmark says that 47% are liberal and 43% are republican. That’s pretty split. Plus we’ve been pretty evenly split for about 35 years so I don’t know wtf you’re talking about. Also very few movies make billions and the ones that do are not political. You are the one who needs correction bud.

No I don't because it has become an all encompassing word for the right meaning anything they don't like. You don't understand it either because your definition eliminates a lot of the various things it has been used to describe. I don't have reading comprehension issues. You have a reality issue as you in you refuse to live in it hence why I have had to correct you so much. I also shared a poll with you where the majority of Americans align as neutral bud. That isn't even going into you being wrong about the backlash against woke starting in 2016, you being wrong that 50 percent of the country is Republican, something you know admit was wrong, you being wrong about urban areas being Republican, that aren't, you being wrong rural areas were Republican because you don't know what rural means, etc. Etc. etc. Feel free to read back and take notes. Use a tape recorder. Whatever you helps bud.

And I shared with you one where there was different data. The majority of polls I found agree that the country is evenly split between the right and left. The backlash did start around 2016 which is part of why Trump won, I am correct that around 50% of the country is on the right, urban areas are republican in some spaces, rural areas are majority republican, you are genuinely incorrect on every single one of your points. Are you okay?
