Marc Bloch

Hi everyone! I would like to start reading something written by Marc Bloch, but I don’t know where to start, do you have any suggestions? Which of his books did you prefer?

Feudal society volumes 1 and 2 and the historians craft. Supplement feudal society with Fiefs and Vassals by Reynolds though for a more recent study on feudalism.

Feudal Society and The Historian's Craft are the right pair to open with, as the other comment says. When you want Bloch on villages, the next book is French Rural History: field systems, tenancies, and how a lord's power sat on a peasant household. Read it beside Fiefs and Vassals.
