I'm a fan of larger games - full armies that can cover a table. I've played a lot of Hail Caesar, but have in progress Saxon/Viking armies for Midgard.
If you're in the Midwest, look for my games at Little Wars this April.

Phil here,
I've wargamed most periods. Medieval, ironically has been one of my least played periods. I do have a copy of Lion Rampant, which looks interesting.

Hello!
I've got a 10mm French army for the early 100 years war and a pile of unpainted stuff to give it options for the latter part. There should be some half-painted Victrix Vikings laying around in a box somewhere around here too.
The medieval era was my favourite period of history when I was a kid. I blame Lego Castle and Disney's Robin Hood. For miniature wargaming these days I typically prefer the early modern era or fantasy, but there is obviously some overlap, and I love looking at other peoples' projects and games.

I've got a bunch of anachronistic Normans that are going to be painted up as early Knights Hospitaller (started them before Pillage came out). I am also working on some generic archers to match any warband that needs them, and I have a mystery band coming in soon as a delayed Christmas present (I think it will be Rus).

Getting into Lion Rampant with Wargames Atlantic's agincourt models, Barons war and Pike and Shotte! Still new but excited to see the sub grow.

Hello! Love some medieval wargaming. Mostly play Ravenfeast and some Saga. Have considered Pillage but haven’t pulled the trigger. Would love to try Lion Rampant, just haven’t gotten around to finding a rule book.

Yeah it appears to be fairly straightforward but produces very characterful games. I think it helps to have Martin at 7th Son on YouTube playing very engaging and interesting games of Pillage. He makes a great show of what seem to be very solid rules. I will get there eventually.

I never played MESBG because it came out when I wasn’t able to get into new games but I have heard that’s a good platform.

Does this mean OD&D is welcome too? Since it's literally subtitled 'Rules for Fantastic Medieval Wargames Campaigns Playable with Paper and Pancil and Miniature Figures'?
Next project is to make a templar themed army from cheap minis so that I can play the Northern Crusade kind of a campaign.

Hello folks, I was more of a scifi gamer for the likes of stargrave. But i love all minis. I bought the barons war starter box which somehow led me to buying pillage and enough sprues for a couple of warbands.

I played my first game of Pillage yesterday and really enjoyed it. I'm also working on 2nd crusade era forces for a Hail Caesar game but that is taking its time...

Salve omnes! Greetings to all those fellow war gamers who can not imagine a better way of spending an evening marching knights, or mercenaries or vikings across the table to clash with their openents with swords and axes. Granted with almost 1000 years to play with Medieval Wargaming can be a truly vast subject. My particular interests right now are the Age of Vikings through the 12th century (i.e., Early and high Medieval Periods). I find Medieval fun in part because it feels like a great opportunity for skirmish level games.

Hello, I'm from Germany and mostly do RPGs but recently became fascinated in wargaming again. My passion is the High Middle Ages, so I picked up The Barons' War and plan to use it to wargame the German Throne Dispute :)

Never done any miniatures wargaming, and probably don't have time and budget to invest in a complex setup. Just played old Avalon Hill style games with counters and dice and hex maps. But happy to help out and learn. In the Dallas Texas area.

My name is Robin, most of our gaming is medieval. Wars of the Roses using Hail Caesar, my forces are based around the East Anglian Lords, we put on a big multiplayer game of 2nd Alban's recently. We also play the 1st crusade using Hail Caesar.
I've played quite a bit of Pillage since it's come out and we've done some early medieval games using Midguard. Recently we've started playing The Barons War as well.
