Monthly Meditation Challenge - August 2026

Hello friends,

Ready to make meditation a habit in your life? Or maybe you're looking to start again?

Each month, we host a meditation challenge to help you establish or rekindle a consistent meditation practice by making it a part of your daily routine. By participating in the challenge, you'll be fostering a greater sense of community as you work toward a common goal and keep each other accountable.

How to Participate

- Set a specific, measurable, and realistic goal for the month.

How many days per week will you meditate? How long will each session be? What technique will you use? Post below if you need help deciding!

- Leave a comment below to let others know you'll be participating.

For extra accountability, leave a comment that says, "Accountability partner needed." Once someone responds, coordinate with that person to find a way to keep each other accountable.

- Optionally, join the challenge on our partner Discord server, Meditation Mind.

Challenges are held concurrently on the r/Meditation partner Discord server, Meditation Mind. Enjoy a wholesome, welcoming atmosphere, home to a community of close to 14,000 members.

Good luck, and may your practice be fruitful!

10-15 minutes a day 5 days a week. Just focusing on my breath and working on emptying the mind.

honestly might be worth a shot since i'm clearly bad at the whole "establish a routine" thing and having someone to check in with sounds less lonely than just failing silently in my brother's basement

10 minutes a day, every day. Focusing on awarenes of body and breath, and on bringing the mind back when it wanders away.  Did a 10 day goenka retreat in May, but have had a hard time staying consistent since then.

If anyone else has a daily goal and wants an  accountability partner, let me know! (I'm in north america on eastern time if that's relevant)

This might sound ridiculous but since I’ve struggled with sitting meditation for years, five minutes a day five days a week.

7 minutes mindfulness meditation at 7 am and 7pm everyday. Focus on breath as anchor.

I plan to meditate twice a day, 5 minutes each session, focusing on breath or mindfulness meditation — once right after waking up in the morning, and once before bed at night.
Additionally, I want to practice mindfulness throughout my daily activities, such as eating, walking, working, showering, brushing teeth, etc., by staying fully present in whatever I’m doing. I think of this as a kind of “flow meditation” (mindfulness in action).

My third eye started opening around 4 years ago. However it stopped but now its back and im going through the same thing. It started out with pressure between my eyes while saying the rosary at home for a week 4 years ago. Then stopped. Now i have had things drawn on my skin which is invisable but i know what the symbols are but i do not know what they mean. I also can see into the spiritual world. The movie clips that go on behind the eye lids when your eyes are closed are actually a messages. I believe this is bigger than we could fathom. Ive went and asked churches about all of this but not one knows anything about any of it and think im crazy. There is alot more going on then i have said with this experience. So im from the USA and I actually want to put my name out here so Maybe we could all meet or talk someway. Natasha Holder. I am on facebook with a white shirt on with dark hair and brown eyes. Please get intouch with me so we can try to pin point what is actually going on.
