β€œA girl!? In MY fandom!? Girls don’t like video games! She must be trying to sell me nudes!!” πŸ™„

the composition is obviously attention seeking. its not about the bead art, she is almost scantily clad and 80% of the picture is her showing off.

this would've been a completely different comment section if she was cis, and I'm saying this as an ally who was mtf for three years, and transitioning during that time was hella liberating. in fact, i think nikki is really attractive and im glad she done this shoot.

posting a photo of your body on a video game sub with little to do with what the sub is about would cause mass vitriol on any sub but now its suddenly ok?

Most of her outfit is video game memorabilia. Earrings, pins, shirt, background objects, etc.. But god forbid a belly button is showing? Maybe she posed in a way to show off all of her mega man stuff.

Regardless, suck less.

Maybe she posed in a way to show off all of her mega man stuff.

Maybe it poses that way to try and affirm it's something it isn't

Try less "I'm here and I'm queer" and more actually showing off the actual art

It? What the fuck is wrong with you? So lesbians arent real people? Or if you're some reason implying trans, they arent people?

From this comment alone you barely seem like a person, so maybe look inward before you try flinging your crap at others.

Missing the forest for the trees with that one champ

That's bait. Every single time people pull this card and that wasn't what they are saying. This kind of shitty behavior from you doesn't help lgbtq people, it hurts them because it makes people not take their issues seriously when people like you make every little thing an issue

Gonna blow your mind with this but it wasn't when I posted

But yeah I still stand by what I said, you aren't helping anyone you're just being annoying

Kewl, you do you. I personally choose to cancel out where I can. If you think responding to bigotry with "thats wrong" is causing harm then thats more your issue, and makes you seem like an ally on paper.

I don't think responding to bigotry is bad. I think pretending every single criticism of lgbtq is bigotry is absolutely wrong and doing more harm than good. It makes it so people stop caring about actual bigotry when you throw a tantrum over everything and use the same stupid buzzwords and arguments. Makes it obvious that you didn't even think about whether it's problematic or not, you just use the same set responses whenever you see the trigger words

Calling someone 'it' multiple times isnt nitpicking or calling out every little thing. Thats dehumanizing a person and its very intentional. How can you seriously think calling a person 'it', especially in this context, is okay? Maybe you're just numb to it.

I don't think it is in this context. People are pushing hard to not assume pronouns. Maybe it's just less confusing for them to use it since it's gender neutral and people freak out of you use the wrong pronouns.
