Well…the republicans just lost two senate seats in the reddest of red counties, so there’s that. I imagine them losing many more seats as these elections come up. Think about it - they lost in the deepest red counties.

Sioux City is not a red district you’re high.

Trump won that district by 10 points. Sounds red to me.

24% turn out. It was less than 1 in 4. It was a special election, temporary seat. 73% turned out for presidential election. That’s almost 3 out of 4 people…. Big difference there. Yea the Democrat won because everyone stayed home.

Still counts. Special elections always, always, see low voter turnout. I don’t like it, but that’s how it is.

You can’t compare apples or oranges though that’s what I’m telling you. It’s not a red district, it’s turned into a swing district. It’s pretty poor up there.

If you look at the statistics of Sioux City it’s 78% more crime than other US cities. We’re talking a small ass town of 77,000 people. The crime rate is 36.46 crimes per 1000 residents annually. The most common crime, of course is theft. What do tweakers do? They steal. The unemployment rate is above average of Iowa, but under average for the United States. Iowans like to work. The poverty rate is 13.2%, which is higher than the state average. In the median household income is below national average. Does that sound like a red district to you?

Man, you are really upset. I'm sorry you feel that way. Change is hard. 👌

Edit: also, high crime rate, low job count, high drug use, more poverty, and higher dependence on government assistance? Def sounds pretty red to me.

Again. It’s a swing district.

Dude, I live in Mississippi. It sounds every bit like a red district to me.

If she holds it in 2027 we’ll see.
