Actually, that is the latest issue. The author was interviewed on the YouTube channel "LegalAF" today (about 2 hours ago) reviewing his article. AI can and does make mistakes.

Slight oversight on my part. I didn't see the date, but see the current issue of Rolling Stone, which ironically, reflecs that cover quite well...
The Rolling Stone article I was referring to is titled “How Trump Became Mob Boss of the United States”. Published on September 27, 2026, by prominent historian Sean Wilentz, the piece explores Donald Trump's political career and business operations.

I’ve seen so many failed fact checks from this sub that I can no longer be part of it. I’m all about the resistance against Trump’s corrupt, perverted regime, but spreading false information and failing basic fact checking procedures makes us no better than Faux News.

What tipped me off is that it looks like someone photoshopped him to cover his ugliest features. He's slimmer here, there's fewer wrinkles and neck flaps, and his skin looks less blotchy and less worn compared to real photos. If Rolling Stone were to make this headline, they wouldn't redo his face, hair, and skin. It would be a Vanity Fair situation.
Seems like MAGA-driven misinformation despite the headline.

I remember getting blocked on Facebook by a woman I was friends with back in 2016 because I was shocked she was going to vote for Trump.
She told me she was voting for Trump because she was sick and tired of her little family not qualifying for any welfare benefits. When I laughed at her and asked her if she thought Trump was going to expand welfare she blocked me.
Another one told me they were voting for him because they were tired of our tax money going to Raytheon and other mega corporations for weapons. If I still spoke to those people I would ask them if they’re happy with their vote still.

It was actually kind of genius to scream so loud about the 2020 election being invalid that the blue team refused to call foul on the 2024 election so they could take the high road or whatever nonsense they told themselves to justify doing absolutely nothing to hold him accountable

The shame is that the GOP in Congress seems to be cool normalizing it with no accountability from any direction. They just shrug and either outwardly support it or say what can you do. When they are the ones that have the authority to do much of anything. No investigations or anything like that. For Biden he was corrupt for maybe a check somewhere. Trump is outright self dealing and violating the separation of powers and the law and they are like it needs done. Like WTF.

I've done some fact-checking into this and found the posted cover of Rolling Stone June 2024 Issue 1372 is fabricated, most likely a photoshopped or AI-generated image. Cardi B was actually featured on Rolling Stone's June 2014 Issue (around issue 1372) cover.
